i have the vodadone 858 smart running Android OS, v2.2 (Froyo).
The first problem occured about 2 months after having the phone - the battery refused to charge. the phone was detected as being plugged in, and whenever i started up the phone with the battery in, it would show the charging icon for roughly 10 seconds, then the battery status would change to "Not charging"
Next whenever i turned on the phone, the home, menu, back and search buttons would all flash at time same time for about a minute before the phone powered on, and i then had a red battery icon with the diagonal bar in the middle.
Also i began having sim card errors randomly.
Whenever i try to hard reset, when im holding down the power and volume down buttons, my phone takes me to a very plain and bright purple screen. this screen is permanent until i switch off the phone.
I don't even know where to start, help please?
