Has anyone successully installed this on the Nexus LTE, un-rooted? I've seen various threads and levels of success.
Thanks
Thanks
You can install it from the market, root not needed, but it isn't a direct install, it's a workaround.

Do people use the search button anymore?
These threads have to pop up at the top when your creating a new thread...

What do you mean anymore?
When did people ever use the search button?
Guys...I have a question.
Is there anyway I can get google Wallet on my unrooted device?
Thanks for any help,
Nkk
EDIT: I just reread this. To be clear, this was not a jab at the OP...if we were all expected to find everything that was ever written then forum Guides would have little to no use and I would be one of the worst offenders. This was only a sarcastic reply to the post I quoted.
I installed via the market workaround, and now my Google Prepaid card is unavailable. I figured if I uninstalled and reinstalled via the apk I downloaded the first time I should get it back. Still not available. I uninstalled and did the market thing again.
Did I do something wrong? I can't use my Google Prepaid card anymore :'(.
Google disabled the prepaid card for security reasons.
Thanks, guess I reacted too quickly. It just happened that I hadn't used Google Wallet in a while and hadn't opened the app until after trying that market workaround trick. I thought I had personally screwed something up on my phone.
Now, the security issue. Ridiculous. It's Google Wallet. Wallet. If I lose my leather wallet, my cash is gone. Is that a security issue? Should I report to the leather wallet manufacturer that there is a design flaw because if I lose it, someone can pull my cash out of it?
I thought the Prepaid card was tied to the account but I don't have a problem with it being tied to the phone. I'm only using it because I'm waiting for them to expand it so that I can use a non-City MasterCard with it. As long as no one can wireless pull the info when in my vicinity I think it's secure enough.
So Google Wallet only works with the Nexus S 4G phones? I'm not seeing it in the Market.
Thnx.
There is a workaround, it goes a little something like this:
On your phone, open up the market in your browser (market.android.com)
Make sure you are signed out.
Search for Wallet, and when the results come up, press the wallet ICON, not the install button.
On the next screen, press install, and it will ask you to sign in.
When you sign in, it will show you aren't able to install.
(This whole time, if your phone prompts you to choose between market and browser, choose browser).
Now press back on your browser, until you get the choice between browser and market again... This time choose Market. It will allow you to download the app.
(If you have your phone setup to default to Market, you will need to clear that setting before you are able to use this method)
Although I was able to uninstall the non-market install and install via the market (thanks again AntimonyER) alas prepaid cards are STILL unavailable.
I'm not understanding default Market, it's the only one I have. Something didn't go right. Where do I clear the Market setting? I assume you mean the Market linked with google email? I do have the Wallet icon but it's not working. There is a workaround, it goes a little something like this:
