Let's See Your Screens (Screenshot Pictures of Homescreens)...NO ROOTING NECESSARY

I swap between 3 roms depending on what I'm looking for: Rocko, CM9 (ICS) and CM7.2. Rocko is very stable, fast with the most unbelievable battery life. CM9 is still alpha so camera does not work and battery life is about equal to stock. CM7.2 is fast, stable, good on battery and tops for customization.

Once you find a few you like you can create backups of them and literally restore (change) between several roms at a moments notice regardless of where you are.

At the moment I'm running CM7.2 with a custom kernel made by the Photon dev Joker (not the custom kernel CM7.2 flashes with) which allows for 1.4 OC. It makes a sick combo for performance.

Also once you unlock and root you can find your MSL code and delete Sprint's proxy codes and get WAY FASTER 3G speeds (did I say WAY FASTER).

One draw back is that unlocking breaks 4G but I don't have it in my location anyway. The devs are working on a 4G fix... won't be long.

I visit XDA on occasion, got the PRO version of the app to support the cause(only $1.00),but,not on there as much as here.

The 4G fix is what I've been holding out for,as it (4G) works great in my area.
Was also curious as to if docking options are working on any of these ROMS?

Doc does work for some not others. Some require special fixes as well but it is possible.

I'm registered, but rarely (if ever) post. Just don't feel smart enough w/ regards to Tech to post in there...LOL...Some of the things that get posted go WAY over my head.

I was the same way. If you are serious about unlocking/rooting you need to watch QBKing's youtube tutorials about unlocking, rooting, flashing roms and installing clockworkmod several times just to see how some of this stuff is done. Hardest part is unlocking... also XDA is full of very helpful people and you'd do well to read the first 5 to 10 pages on some of the Photon rom threads in the forums. You'll soak up a lot of general knowledge by doing so. It is intimidating at first but once it is done flashing roms is very easy and rewarding/fun.

Great info, does that custom kernel work better with any of your roms? Or does it seem to work equally well with all of them? I'm pretty set on going CM9 though.

There is 1 developer who builds all different kinds of kernels, Joker. Kernels are rom specific so you can't use 1 with just any rom. He has a thread on xda with all the kernels he has built and tells you which roms they go with.

And heres my lockscreen:

Over here I am using Windows Lockscreen. I enjoy this app, but on thr scale of 1-5 I'd prrsonally rank it a four because of the lack of customization, overall howrver; it is quite well done!

This is my second android, I had to deal with the very crappy Samsun Moment for the past two years! :(

And to top everything off; I creatrd this post with my Photon!! ;)

Weres that lockscreen at

Go Launcher EX: FishZ theme

The top of the screen is from Beautiful Widgets I chose the Beautiful Home Weather with the following choices:
Clock Skin: Papyrus
Weather Skin: Brushed Ink Black
Font on lower left: Red adjusted to match the fish
Hide Background checked
Background Transparency: checked 100% transparent
Google weather service

I like it. I used the theme's icons. I allowed the Waze app to have its own icon.

Mine are definitely not as customized as they were a few days ago before I installed Gummy via Joker's Kitchen Sink Rom.

As you can see, as Skrillex stated earlier, the Photon is a beast when unlocked!

The first of the last three images is CF-Bench, and the last two are Antutu Benchmark.

This is with Joker's 1.4 GHz kernel. :)
