I'm catching up on work.
Sorry to hear that. I'm just going to relax today. And by that I mean: laundry, taxes, cleaning, food shopping
Days off are so much fun!

I swear to god, this forum has made me such a tech whore!
(and if anyone needs to tell me to stop this madness, let me know)
Ha! Welcome to the club. Although the forum just allowed you to realize you're a tech whore. It was there already.
Like any of us will tell you to stop!!
As for the Prime, my bf really likes his. Hasn't had any problems with it that I know of.
Haha, I mean this guys voice alone (in all its sexiness) makes me want to get it even more. One of the quirkiest and most fun I've seen. GPS isn't a huge deal. I used it once tethered to my GT 10.1 and it was fun for navigation, but it just isn't a huge deal for me.

Gah, having issues uploading a new avi. BB, tips? I've downsized the pic to under 150x150 and it's still not working.
(<--- see here)
SMH, and now it works! Boring, yet classic.

Morning all, although it is almost lunch. Checking in while i wait on a process here at work that takes about 20 minutes.
Looks like the AF bug is still going around... I had better not get sick
Crazy busy at work, at least the rest of this week, and most likely the next three weeks, so will probably be scarce. Stupid Pandora is rebuffering every 20 seconds on me today. Data speed is under 100 kbps.
Lucky, glad you got everything in order. So how long did it take you to unlock and root it?
Thank you! However, I spoke too soon... I was typing an email a few minutes ago and the phone freaked out like it did yesterday. I had to pull the battery. Needless to say, I'm looking up Joyce's number (at Verizon) to tell her I'm sending this one back!
Its cute. I always had trouble getting the right size for the avi. I'd start high and just keep going lower till it worked. And always refresh at least twice because the site is a bit temperamental at times.
I seem to have missed the issue -- got a TLDR of what's going on with your Nexus?
What is freaking out on the device? Just curious.
No problem. The screen would "freak out". That's the best way to describe it. It acted like someone was rapidly swiping their finger across the screen back and forth. Letters were being typed on their own. Apps open and closed. Things like that. All in extremely rapid succession. You couldn't do anything to stop it, except pull the battery. It happened three times within a 24-hour period and I said heck no. Called Verizon and they told me to send it back and did I want to go with another model phone? I said no, I really want the Nexus to work so send me another one, please. So it's on the way and will be here tomorrow. This will be Nexus #3. *sigh*
Can't complain about the customer service... Verizon has been great. I'll keep youse guys posted.

Hold up one minute -- was the phone plugged into a charger during this happening? If so was it the OEM charger?
I've seen this kind of thing when plugged into a bad charger (especially on my Droid). Apps would start opening and keys would start being pressed on my keyboard and would type random messages.

That kind of makes sense. It is a USB port, so a flaky charger could be sending who knows what kind of funky signals that the phone is confusing as commands.
