i just got some kind of ota update??????????

i just got a update idk what it is but i did it and it showed a new samsung logo once it finished BUT when the phone started it looked the same to me. i checked the software info and it still says 1.5* *what is going on. also it showed something in the notification bar at the top of the phone saying device management connectiing. does anyone know what hppened or encountered the same?

the OTA is not a firmware update, it is just bugs fixed

Yup just a bug fix. As for Device Management, its a hidden app Tmobile uses to manage the phone. Example. Those who have myfavs will have the myfavs app, those who dont, wont. All remotely managed via this program. So it is also what checks for the update.

HAHAHA, bet thats why I never got the update. I deleted that 40 meg file a while ago.

I got the update but i still have the same sd card problem?

Mount the SD card on a PC.
Drag off all the files.
format the card
drag all the files back
unmount
reboot

and wait to see if it happens again

I bought mine, Still waiting for the update...
Once I get the update I'll start making Rom's again, as my source has told me this Kernel has more Driver support in it as well. So, at this point I'm a Duck in open water just waiting....
