Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

I have some ideas on what you'll find :p Take care of you during this traumatic event! gl!

Yeah, me too. Anyone that has teenage boys knows what type of stuff I'm going to find. Dirty dishes, empty soda cans, dirty laundry, oh, and the unique reading materials:D of a certain genre that are sure to turn up.

What are you cooking up for Dinner? Anything tasty?
No plans for us so far today. Getting some solid use out of the Prime. Anyone have some favorite tablet apps to recommend? Pulse is one of my favorites.

She be cookin' tonight ya baby tonight ya babeee! I know one good suggestion...breakfast for dinner, that is it, thank you :D

As much as I would like breakfast for dinner, Pop-Pop isn't keen on it. So, we are going to wander through the store and see if anything grabs our attention. Maybe kielbasa and sauerkraut with apples and brown sugar.

How adorable, love the hippos, and I love my 'yogurts'! Thx for the share mR j!

Mornin' y'all!

It's another beautiful day in California.

My two babies (wife and son) are still asleep and I am going through my Saturday morning routine in peace and quiet. House is quite the disaster from lack of family time this week. Today we catch up.

Brunch with Gram (wife's mum) today and lots of cleaning and some furniture rearranging. See, that cute little yogurt eating monster is now capable of climbing up on just about everything...and is smart enough to use random objects to boost him up when daddy won't. I truly love fatherhood. :)

@BB: I missed it, so I will ask...which one of these phone geeks stole your heart? Been dying to know!

@Razor: What's a Cali boy got to do to get some RSRSS? :)

@jb: I am back on Lean 2.1.0, 2.2.0 was not as good...wish me luck! And how DARE you call me out on my crackflashing of kernels! :)

@blkblt: Where is my kernel!?!?!?!?!? I mean your kernel that you have graciously offered to let me test?

@fathers and mothers: any home remedies for soothing a teething baby during the day which don't include sugar, be it natural or artificial?

@everyone else: Happy Saturday. If I missed you it is because I have this thing about spelling properly and didn't want to butcher your user name just to say something.

Yours,

jmar

We used this. Not a complete solution, but it did soothe the discomfort.

And then there is the old wives tale about putting bourbon on the gums. The baby's, not yours.

Morning jmar

We got lucky with Evan, he really had no difficulty with teething. Sometimes a mild fever which we used Advil / Tylenol. I had to hold him upside down and make him giggle to find out how many new teeth he had. We did use the teething rings you put in the freezer if he did get fussy, but he really had no use for them.

My pharmacist wife says some people use very small amounts of oragel. There is and over the counter herbal remedy called Highlands Baby Teething tablets. We never tried them but she has many customers who are happy with it.

Samsung Galaxy S III to feature 4.8-inch display and ceramic back with simultaneous global launch. Per BGR.

Wow I must say that phone looks gorgeous. The smaller top and bottom bezel is very attractive. 4.8" getting large. Looks like a dedicated camera/shutter button maybe? But ceramic back  while ceramics are quite scratch proof, almost scratch resistant depending on formulation, brittle they are, and very. Don't drop it!

It is gorgeous. But I wonder if it is the real thing or an artists rendering.

Well, DarthSilentBob has stolen my heart. I'm such a pile of mush lately its crazy. :D

As for teething, the midwife I had used actually suggested a 100% cotton washcloth or handtowel put in the freezer damp and left to get very cold. Obviously to be used under close supervision but worked like a charm. Although Ann had a thing for gnawing on the Velcro strap on her sneakers. We would turn around and she'd have the shoe off and in her mouth. Just the strap though. I washed those shoes A LOT.
My mother used the liquor trick on me. Turns out I liked it a bit too much to continue that. Lol.

Yeah, that mockup of the SGS3 looks awesome! Better not show it to my Nexus. Still gonna be Touchwized to death though :p
Just found out the restaurant has lost power. Glad I'm not there to see the craziness that's going on ;)
Trying to make plans for lunch. I really want some chili. Hard Times is one of my favorite restaurants in the area (a local chain). Wife wants none of it

Hey all!

Got my rear kicked at work today. Good thing it was not too busy. Rather then boring you all with the details, I thought I would tell you a quick story. :)

I was feeling frisky one day so I went into a public restroom and wrote on the stall, "Looking for a good time? Call" and I wrote my number down. A few days later I get a phone call from some old man saying he was indeed looking for a good time. I agreed to meet him at the local park the other night where upon meeting him, I hand him a clock and said, "here you go, it keeps good time" and left.

Sure felt good giving some one a good time :D

:p

Well hit week 4 of the C25K app today. Thought it was going to kick my tail but did surprisingly well. I did slow down my jogging pace a little, but considering I went from 9 minutes of jogging with 6 minutes of walking in between, to 16 minutes of jogging, with 4 minutes of walking, and finished, I'm pretty stoked. I am going to sign up for my company sponsored 5k at the end of next month.

Congrats on that! I'm more from the Chris Knight school of thought, "Do you still run?", "Only when chased."

Got it on my Prime the first time I turned it on. Have already gotten one more OTA too! :D
If Google does want to make a Nexus tab, I think Asus should be the one to make it.
I am with you, Asus said the Transformer would get ICS once the prime was out and here it is, true to their word. The TF101 is faster and sleeker with ICS. +1 for Asus getting a Google tablet!

Morning all. Looks like Sammy announced two new devices yesterday. A Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and a Galaxy Beam (has a projector on the top). Two really underwhelming devices. They may still announce a 10.1 Note, hopefully with much better specs than the Tab 2 which has nearly the same specs as last years (though with ICS). Going to be a fun next couple days seeing the new tech announced!

Good morning dreadnatty, I'm not sure I am overwhelmed by any of the new announcements. I have two years to go before I upgrade, so I'll wait and hope someone come out with my perfect fit. Nexus like size and flexibility, not too thin, enough heft I don't have to have a case on it, and enough battery to not really have to think about it. If I were to take the best of today and make a frankenfone, it would be GNex screen / bootloader, Maxx radios and battery. Really though, two years from now it could be unrecognizable.

Anyway, any NASCAR fans looking forward the the race today?
