EXACTLY my thoughts.

He found his way here because after someone saw his tweet..i found him on facebook and messaged him with a link to this forum.

Do you think he got his masters in Electrical engineering in India and then moved to NJ to work in the in the cell phone industry for 5 years and then set up a facebook page with hundreds of friends...just to tweet about the incredible and then scam you?:D:D

seems like a lot of work to me...i would suggest he is real.

Wow, I go to bed, wake up and realize that you guys have cracked something major here. Nice work all around.

If he says a month could we be looking at that magical March 23rd date or do you guys think it's more along the lines of early April?

"Just when I thought you couldn't possibly be any dumber, you go and do something like this... and totally redeem yourself!"

A little Dumb and Dumber for this morning :)

LOL I woke up and my *hits were on page 48. I read through to now and this guy came on the forum? LOL that's awesome... but seriously guys. This is kinda creepy. Don't stalk the guy lol. No, it's cool though.

I hope he doesn't get in trouble though. VZW should just announce this or even better HTC w/VZW.. Kind of a way to say F U Apple. The suspense on the red backplate is killing me though. I really hope it isn't red

I don't mean to be a downer, but reading an article on the Apple/HTC suit I came across this (I didn't see this part in other articles).

"Apple asked the court for "a permanent exclusion order" that would bar from entry "all mobile communications devices and components" made by HTC that carry the offending technologies, according to court documents."

That could cause problems pretty immediately, right?

I guess if Sarab.Singh is correct and the phone is launching next month then it would already be in the US. Hey what about this. If the Incredible hasn't launched and isn't named in the suit, then it shouldn't matter anyway right??

So that would mean... Go eat a .... Apple. We're getting our Incredible!

Lets hope the suit from Apple doesn't slow the release of the incredible.

Apple Suit Could Pressure HTC - WSJ.com

It won't. I think the more that gets out about the lawsuit and how ridiculous some of the things that Apple is saying are seen in the light of day things will improve. Plus at some point Google will get involved and will hopefully soon shut off their services to Iphone users.

A court is not simply going to grant such a request the next day and there will be no permanent exclusion order before the trial has finished. The best Apple could hopeful is a temporary injunction and even then they have to prove that they'd be severly harmed if there was no injunction and that there is a good chance they could prevail.

I just came across this about an hour ago and I'm not sure if you guys have seen it yet, but apparently there is the potential that courts could rule in favor of Apple and force HTC to remotely strip some functionality from Andoid phones (like multitouch maybe). This sucks. I really hope this doesn't come to pass because it could impact all of us. I would be royally p1$$ed off if I bought a shiny new Incredible only to have it neutered a few months later thanks to Apple. I moved away from Microsoft towards Apple a few years ago because I was so fed up with Microsoft's business practices, but now I have a new enemy....

Right now it is big, bad Apple and all its resources, against little HTC. Google gets involved, then things get interesting.

HTC market cap = roughly $8 billion
Apple market cap = $189 billion
Google market cap = $172 billion

Yes... true. Seems as though we're ALL "goin' off the rails on a crazy train!" Sure is fun!

Excellent use of Black Sabbath lyrics. Kudos to you. :D

I'm sure Mr. Singh didn't have any idea that his simple tweet would bring him an entire community of (mostly) virtual stalkers. Poor guy. Hope he doesn't get in trouble.:)

Don’t forget that they are also going after the HTC HD2 which is a winmo phone... it would be awesome if Microsoft also got behind it but i doubt they will. Microsoft $268 billion

Everyone lets beat up Apple

Again this would not happen until the end of the legal process, which wont be soon unless Apples case gets thrown out (it wont). But the process includes appeals and what not. Most of what apple is bitching about is operating system level patents which really doesn't affect HTC all that much but does affect Google.
Though if you get an incredible and such a legal order comes down against HTC, you could always root your phone which would disable OTA updates as to avoid a remote lobotomy of your phone.
I'm still waiting for Google to punish Iphone fanboi's everywhere. Just send a message like "Due to Apple accusing us of violating patents we have disbaled Iphone access to all of our patent busting applications".

Who would've thought we'd see the day where Apple would become more evil than Microsoft.

I know I didn't. It makes me want to smash my iMac into bits, but I won't because I need it....and because I paid way too much for the damn thing. I'm sorry for the rant, folks. I'm just absolutely furious at Apple right now.
