A question non 2.1 related (mutliple google calendars)

I've created multiple sub calendars within my standard gmail calendar account to managed my kids calendars. Doesn't look as though these calendars will come over to my Eris running 1.6. Is that correct? Any work arounds or am I missing something?

In the calendar option on the phone I see:
My calendar
my work gmail calendar
outlook

eris is running 1.5

and i think there should be an option to share your other calendar (online, on your pc, on the goog calendar interface)

Your created these additional calendars on your computer using gmail? If so, force a sync and then check if those calendars are available.

Surely if you share you calendar, doesn't that mean anyone can search for it and find it? I've had loads of problems getting custom calendars to show on my Hero

No ... there is an option to make it public under the sharing settings. You can share it and give the web address to someone so they can view it ... but if you dont make it public no one can search for it

yeah you can share your calendars with specific people, like the wife and i can share and i can have my stuff, and her stuff, both on my phone

i really need to make more use of these features, i am SO disorganized now.

Created these calendars within Gcal. Don't need to share via the web just want to make sure these appointments get added to my device.

Oh and I have "US Holidays' listed which is a calendar I added via Gcal as well.


How do i do a force sync on the calendar?

Menu > Settings > Data Synchronization > Google > Calendar

Thanks Group. Calendars are now syncing and my life is getting more organized day by day.
