Are they pictures and video you took via your phone, or did you just place them on your SD card from your computer?

Ones taken / recorded with your phone are in the 'DCIM' folder on your SD card.

Whoops, thought I looked in every folder. Yea they were taken with the phone, just found them in that DCIM folder, Thanks so much!

I love to go hunting in the folders. Still don't know what some of them are. I have downloaded backgrounds that did not show up on the phone menu, transferred them to a folder that did, and they still did not show up. Found out I had to rename them and there they were. This phone is a trip. TC

The search doesn’t ever get me answers! So that leads me to this post. I have some pictures/video on my SD card and want them on my PC. They are too big to email. I mount my phone and look in all the folders but can’t find them. Somehow the album folder is missing. What should I do?

For easy remembering, DCIM means Digital Camera IMages.
