I recently made some groups to arrange my icons in order. I noticed that my gallery icon is missing. I don't know if making groups had something to do with it. Its just gone! I have to go to my camera and click on the last photo I took and hit menu to choose gallery home. It's all there I just lost that icon. Can anyone help me with this? Im kinda new to Android. Thanks!

OK, I'll hunt around, but I doubt you deleted it outright. You sure its not hiding in one of your folders.

Oh, I merged your two threads so you wouldn't have to answer questions in both.

Thanks for the merger of the 2 threads. Also I looked everywhere. I checked out all the apps I have and I can't find it anywhere. I would appreciate if you can find me some help. Thanks for your time!

Nope! It's just gone. Very weird but I downloaded something called "Smart Gallery" in the market for free and it works just like the gallery without now having to go through my camera since I gave up on getting the icon for gallery back.

WAIT!! I got it. It was hidden and I didnt even know I hid that app. Im so sorry. Thanks for all your help. I'm the idiot!

This happened to me after the latest update. I even went into a Verizon store to try to solve the problem, and they were clueless. I finally found the Gallery by going to Storage, Apps, and Gallery. When I clicked it, lo and behold, it was DISABLED! I never disabled it, so I assume this happened with the update. After I clicked ENABLE, I had my gallery back in the apps list and was able to move it back to my home screen.

I was having the same issue and your fix worked for me too. Thanks!
