Root Is there a working Sense UI based ROM for the droid?

I remember reading about a port from the HTC espresso i believe, but I have not been able to find anything specific.. i have smoked glass 5.0.1 right now which looks awesome but i wouldn't mind replacing it with the sense UI overhaul..

not yet. there is a ROM based on the leaked desire ROM that is being worked on.

Last I heard was that bt is not working. Is that still the case?

yes no bt, no wifi, calling out works great i hear, in coming calling is.... strange. They are CLOSE to figuring it out but not sure how close. I can live with out wifi and bt, but obviously i have to have it calling in. its getting faster and faster every day.

they load new kernels to it and it is over clockable. its really cool. I have seen 3 vids, they are around the net, some posted here. HD vids of it running flash, the sense ui, the browser is fast, very slick. there is a little lag, but its probably just the sense ui itself, cause it has a bounce to it. when switching the windows it bounces. it does not do that if you have a home replacement app from it. there IS NO ETA right now, just kinda when its done

yep, seems they are at a stand still since the forum is being updated, i mean the devs are working, but there have been no announcements. i heard there was a new build going around, its overclocked and fast, i dig it

@ Radikal, you sure? He hasn't updated the title/first post since the first, but he has spoken once or twice in the thread. They said they have wifi "working" now but can not connect it to an app. I think they took parts from the Eris build to get it working. Not sure though, I only read a few pages toward the end of the thread...

New News: So I am putting in this update but not updating that date just yet, 2 reasons. 1 becasue I want to thank the people who check back and dont listen and read the post anyways for something new. 2nd becasue I dont know if it is confirmed yet or not as I need the person who fixed it to get back online and show me what he did . Anyways I got an update at around 3 in the morning telling me that Bluetooth is powering on and is detecting. There just seems to be 2 problems, one that it doesnt like it when you shutdown with it on and 2 the audio sync doesnt seem to be working. But hey every little but helps, there is a little news on the phone, greek thinks he might have found a problem with it and looking into it. On a much better note, as people who follow the public wave might already know, the speed is GREAT, I really cant say that enough, yea people might have been seeing lag before, which we were happy with becasue you shoulda seen it with build 3 lol, but the speed now has no lag, I cant wait to get the next video up so everyone can see it. The new kernel and with droidswap is works. We have a few projects going on trying to fix a few things, one project is put on hold as birdman had his phone/laptop stolen , this is never a good thing and we are looking into ways we can get him backup and running. Thats it for now, I hope later today I can clean this post up a little.

Well, you should ask in the thread. I am not involved in any way with this or any other rom. I was just posting the update from alldroid since someone asked.

And yes, he is referring to google wave. I need to follow this as well...

For those wanting to get on to the wave...The google wave for the Passion Rom is now public. Do the following search in wave...

withublic and tag:ALLDROID and tag:ZEUSDROID

**EDIT** Don't know how to get rid of the smiley, but it should be "with : public" (but without the spaces)

There will be 2. The second one is V2. I just followed both...
