Help Can not connect to computer

I just bought the Amaze today, and when I went to connect it to my PC to transfer music, videos, etc., nothing happened. I selected the disk drive connection type, and it still does not show up in My Computer.

I am running Windows 7 64 Bit, and my computer said that it installed the drivers correctly, yet it still will not let me transfer any files.

Any ideas..?

The latest version of Sync will install proper drivers, if Sync is compatible with your version of Windows. What I meant was when you said, "Installed drivers correctly," if you were referring to something OTHER THAN HTC SYNC installing drivers.

Well I know for a fact I do have the latest version of Sync installed. I guess I am just out of luck.

I am thinking of getting this phone this weekend. Are you still having problems with your phone. Any regrets??? I don't want to make a mistake.

Woah. Hold it there.

There are some issues with the phone that several users have confirmed as common defects. I'd wait a month and test drive a One X or One S in a store. Newer phones, improved hardware, Ice Cream Sandwich and Sense 4.0.

The Amaze may still be around for sale (secondary market if not from the carrier) if you don't like those. But if I had a choice, and could do over, I'd probably wait and take the One series over the Amaze.

Just ordered the amaze and should be here later today (best tmobile has at the time) With talks like this from you it does not make this decision any easier. Lol besides I can't beat free. I'm sure the one will cost me something.
