Official hTC/Verizon upcoming phones/devices thread

How is the memory partitioned on a phone with no removable SD card?
How exactly does that work?
What about doing nand backups and clockwork mod restore from SD?

I dont know, but it wouldnt matter to me

Scenario 1: your flashing a ROM and something goes wrong, leaving you at a never ending boot screen. You go to pull the battery but you cant since its non removeable. You read that vol-down and power should force a reboot, but it doesnt. Now what?

Scenario 2: your in the middle of rooting and something goes wrong, perma bricks the phone. So you go to take the SD Card out and put it into your new replacement phone. you would then keep all of your game saves, apps backed up, photos and videos, sms's backed up, etc etc .. but you cant, since theres no SD Card.

Both of those scenarios are more than common, and have both actually happened to me. Which is why im so hesitant to buy a phone with a removable bat or sd card.

This just might have been the Verizon hTC One X, the Zeta...

Photo is a definite render, but with those specs on VZW this could be their next big thing, to bad it's fake...

Man, just give me a phone that looks like and has the exact same specs as the One S with replaceable battery & Sd card on VZW, I'd be glad with that.

" Update: In our digging since this article was posted, we're confident that this is just simply a cool concept and not an actual device in the works."

Why those Charltons!!!

It didn't match anything on the codename list either, so, yeah.
11 or so of these are already out. This list surfaced in Nov. of '11 for what hTC would initially call their pre-release phones.

HTC device codename list revealed, seems pretty accurate.

ATT gets the best.

Rumor has it that Tmobile will "get the best" so to speak.
They are supposed to get the One X with the Tegra 3 4+1 core (not the processor AT&T is having put in their version of the One X due to Tegra 3 LTE chip incompatibility) processor running stock Android 4.0 & are probably going to brand it as a "G" series phone.
It looks likely that it will happen too.
If you want the best from hTC's new One series,Tmobile looks like the carrier you'll want to jump ship to.
It is also confirmed that they are getting the hTC One S phone model also.
