I have no idea what's going on, this never happened to me before until now on my galaxy nexus. When the phone is connected to the computer the phone doesn't automatically mount the storage and enter USB debugging mode. Any suggestions guys? I'm currently running AOKP M3 (was planning on flashing M4 until i noticed this big problem) with R61 Franco Nightly

Thank you all for the responses and help.

Are you running a different kernel than the one that came with the ROM?

This ended up being the problem. I didn't think to remember that maybe the kernel had something to do with it. I just flashed back to 16.0 Franco Kernel and was able to have the computer recognize my phone again. Thank you all

Edit: Also I was told by my friend that if you have the Franco Updater App installed and enable fast charge on USB it doesn't allow the phone to mount its internal memory.

Thanks a lot buddy for the tip. I had installed the Franco updater and enabled fast charge. And then my PC stopped mounting my GNex. I thought there might be something wrong with the latest franco kernel that I had just flashed using the app. I flashed imoseyon kernel. Same thing. Flashed nightly build of franco. Same thing. I was about to do an old nandroid restore, which would've taken my cell back ages. Thankfully I saw this post and unchecked the fast charge option. And it worked. :adore:

Im having the same prob with my gnex. aokp. fast charge is off and debugging is on. all it does when i plug it into windows 7 is charge the phone. the pc dont even notice i plugged anything in to it. driving me nuts.

I would suggest installing the drivers again and restarting your computer. That happened to be before and what i just said fixed that problem. Hope that helps
