Who would buy the Galaxy Note (journal) if it comes to sprint?

I would totally drop my EVO 4g to purchase this phone! it looks so cool! I like how big the screen is and the S-pen is pretty neat too. I'm hoping this phone comes to sprint, I would defnitetly purchase it!
I plan to not buy a phone from sprint unless its this phone..if not, I'm just going to deal with my EVO until something BIGGER and BETTER comes along. My EVO has been having so many issues, i'm sad. I do love my phone, but if something else comes along I will be trading it in for that phone.

Has anyone heard anything else about the phone or if/when it will come to Sprint?? I would be so excited if it does! woo! I just don't want to trade companies...I like sprints plans and prices, its so much better than trying to figure out how much data I use..and I use A LOT!! also, if I wanted to trade I'll have to spend about 200$ to cancel my plan..that would suck..
Anywho, I just hope sprint does get this phone, it would be amazing! :)

Yes! the galaxy SIII I am kind of waiting for as well. Its a toss up of which one I would actually go for now ahah. But I could totally use this phone on a day to day basis as well.

Hmmm. I have never really thought about Sprint doing new fees for lte stuff. Good question..I wonder if they will do that or just leave it like it is. :/

It looks like quite a good phone, but I think my heart lies with the GNex regardless. I'm doing away with all these damn OEM's adding their silly UI's to the Android OS. I want me some plain vanilla android for once. AOSP FTW!

Honestly, the only thing I like about the Note is that it has a 5" screen lol.

My main problem with the Nexus is the camera. Camera quality is a big thing for me and the Nexus' camera isn't up to par. BUT if Sprint does get an updated Nexus, with hopefully a better camera I will bite.

Am waiting for and wanting the Note.

GS2 is just a short-term bridge for me.

Am hoping the higher resolution and stylus makes the Note a platform for the sort of apps I had (and still miss) on the Palm OS. Hard to believe no one has replicated the likes of HandyShopper, PocketQuicken, DateBk5 even after all these years.

Part of the reason is the lousy screen input-resolution of everything since. I'm hoping the stylus restores the fine selection of data from densely displayed info.

I'm seriously considering it. However, I am cautious about Sprint increasing the data fees. I want to make sure that Sprint will not introduce a new fee, especially without providing LTE in my area.

It seems that Sprint intends on hitting all the major markets this time around. The best part about the LTE rollout is that it is by Sprint, and not some 3rd party company (Clearwire). In any event, I would wait to see which rollout term your city is in then decide from there whether or not you want to wait or jump ship. I personally doubt that Sprint will put on another fee. However, I wouldn't mind if they changed the current $10 fee to something like $15.

Supposedly the Sprint GNex has a higher clock speed and better camera sensor (which should help in taking better pictures).

I really hope so, the 8MP on the Epic Touch is by far the best I have had so far. The Nexus can reach its quality I will be happy. If it can beat it, I will be even happier.

When is the LTE supposed to be coming out? I live in Michigan..and I don't really know if LTE would be coming here just yet. (which kindof sucks if I can't use a new, fancy phone ya know?) My EVO works just fine out where I live and thats in Monroe...It runs on 3g and I'm cool with that :)

LTE should be available early this summer.. it is being deployed as we speak. Here is the list of cities announced so far.. it gets updated about 3 times a week... so check back regularly! :)

I canceled with Sprint after the Discount change and after being out right lied to by CSR's and Sprint Corporate stores. I moved to AT&T and got the note.

I was hesitant because it's Samsung. So far I love it. Wifi reception is way better than Nexus S4G. Call reception is great and my GPS actually works. It has two GPS radios in the phone. Screen is beautiful. Camera is pretty good.

Lovin the phone thus far and AT&T seems to be working well. I got 15% off my bill and unlimited messaging for both lines free for the first year.

Hope Sprint can get it together and not screw too many people.

Just an FYI, you will get shafted no matter where you go. The providers don't give a crap about you. They just want your money, and they will get it. Simple basic rules of supply and demand apply here. In any event, I hope you enjoy your new device/provider.

Im well aware. I just got tired of giving my money to Sprint and getting repeatedly screwed in the process.

Thanks for the list! I was trying to find something about it..and I just kept getting the same thing over and over ahah.

I've never owned a Samsung smartphone before.. So I'm excited to see what the phone will be like, I'm curious too. I've only owned a couple (non-smartphones) from metropcs then I switched to Sprint and got the Evo, which I love it, but its been having non-stop issues and I've tried to fix it..and its still messed up. Soooo I'm waiting for a new phone (which I'm hoping is this phone) and I'll be all over it :)

you can sell the EVO.. when you decide to upgarde.. that will help with the cost.
I think you can get $150 for it..

I love the size of the NOTE..
i love htc phones..
i am hoping htc will bring out a phone with same size specs..
else i will have to get the NOTE.

GS3..how do you wait for a phone that know one knows any specs on??
example.. i cant wait for the EVO3... it will blow all current phones out of the water!!!! it will be zero bezel, 4 day battery, 6" screen with the same body of the NOTE and.....(this is total BS by the way)

A lot of people wait for a phone they don't know about. This is my upgrade year and there's no way I'm buying a phone until I know the specs for the GS3. One can assume that it should be spectacular....otherwise it would be a failure. My 3 choices are the GN, the next EVO, or the GS3. That way I can choose which is best for me. Hopefully we know all the specs by summertime lol.
