Flipping back nd forth between pages and forums etc, gets kind of confusing. I am running Smoked Glass 5.0, would like to try the 2.1 based ROM..
Can any one direct me to a link to find the download of the stable Simply Stunning, I believe it was the 1.2 not 1.25?
A link and if there are instructions great, if not well I will keep reading.

I have rooted by the way with DroidMod.

Thaks for your kind replies in advance, you are all helpful.

I think his newest 1.25 is running fine. I don't think he's got the old ones up anymore. If you don't want the 1.25 kernel, He's got update.zips of the others and you can just do those to replace it. Just scroll down some to Chevy's post. Just run whatever kernel 1GHz or less if you're worried about stability.

Also you can try Pete's. I've been using it, no problems at all. And it has the stock kernel, and it's still quick, compared to 2.0.1 it feels overclocked. I've since gone to Chevy's 1Ghz Kernel and haven't had any problems at all.

If Chevy doesn't have instructions, Pete's ROMs do. If Chevy's ROMs are Nandroid Backups then follow Pete's instructions. To install Chevy's Kernel follow Pete's update.zip instructions. Make sure you rename ChevyNo1-XXGHz-whatever-update.zip to just update.zip.

I am running this and love it. My favorite theme so far, and once Fabulous helped me with the market issues, very, very stable. I was running DM 1.0, went back to Sholes 2.0.5 as I was getting too many FC's and decided to switch to one of these new guys based on the supposition that they help battery life.

We'll see if this helps,.

I have been running the SG 5.0....at 1100 and it has been running smooth, stock drawer, live wallpapers (water real cool). Seems very smooth, no Foreclosures battery temp is 32 C 89.6 F and CPU at 95 F (are those OK?)

It seems fine to e, not sure.
Just thought I would want to upgrade to a 2.1 ROM, No?

Your temps are perfect. As for 2.1 - if it ain't broke, don't fix it (I wish I could take my own advise). If everything is running as smooth as you say and your temperatures are that low, I wouldn't touch it until there was some compelling feature of 2.1 you can't live without. I have one perfect setup with DroidMod 1.0 and yes I do try every new ROM that comes my way, but always resort back to what has worked best for me.

I'm running the same ROM, same temps, no fcs, no random reboots, no issues. Awesome running ROM. Adamz tweaked this into perfection.
