Even though the phone designs have gotten thinner, the width and the height has increased, which I'm not too fond of. Even though I can't see myself going away from Motorola, based on my loving the MoPho, this phone is definitely very nice.

I'm still waiting to see what's next for Motorola before deciding which path I'll take for upgrade (if I even upgrade the phone). I must say though, this phone really does make me consider going back to HTC. If this was the EVO that was released (instead of the 3D), I probably would have stayed with HTC.

I was never a Motorala fan and if anything I would switch to Samsung if needed! I have a buddy who work for Sprint tech and he say's that's an awesome phone (he has it). Well all my devices have been HTC and I got my mom a GSII on Sprint! I tinkered with the GSII before I relieve her of misery (Samsung moment I think). Beseide that, All my phone from Windows and switching to Android have all been HTC! I also like sense, it make sense to me! lol!

So everyone bashed the iPhone for having a non removable battery and no SD card but now that its going to be on an HTC branded Android device, everyone is cool with it now? I thought that was evil and controlling?! I might be tempted to get the Nexus.

Not this guy. I don't like the iPhone because of iOS and reliance on iTunes. Lack of SD and removable battery have never been deal breakers for me.

It still doesn't matter. I don't do iOS. Go promote iOS on an Apple-based forum. You'll see much better results.

I have had 4 Android phones with Sprint. I was just asking why everyone is so happy about a phone that has features everyone slammed other phones for. People will accept these things they viewed as restrictive or outdated now just because its an HTC Android device? Seems very odd.

I for one don't like not it. This is why I am starting to look at Samsung again. I am really tempted to get the Nexus also. But I want to wait and see what the GS3 will be like. I really hope Sprint's version of the HTC One X is different. I love HTC phones but non removable battery and no SD card is almost a deal breaker for me.

Although it seems Samsung might have turned the corner with the SGS II, I've never trusted in Samsung's mobile support. They've been historically awful for years, which is part of the reason I didn't wait for the E4GT.

That said, I can tell you that I was a long time HTC guy, until I got the MoPho. It's because of the MoPho that I've decided to wait until both HTC and Motorola had their superphones (for Sprint) announced. Before, I wouldn't wait for anything once HTC had announced its superphone.

I can also say that in all my years owning HTC phones, none of the manufacturer specific accessories even came close to what Motorola offers. The car dock, as far as functionality, MUCH better than anything I had with HTC (only thing better with HTC was looks). The HD dock...way better than the HTC one I had for the EVO. The Lapdock (HTC doesn't even make that). And now, the most recent accessory, they have the VGA connector for business presentations "on-the-go" that can connect the phone to a monitor.

They are for me.

It doesn't rely on iTunes anymore, check your facts :)

Actually, you're wrong. Since the Apple App store runs through iTunes, and the iTunes store in general, id say that's still pretty dependant on the software. And even with their faux "wireless" sync, it still syncs via iTunes.

Agreed. I'm just hoping the Sprint version is different as well. I highly doubt it.....but hoping. If not, it will just make my disicion easier.

I typically (never) got an accessories! So it wasn't a issue for me! Your right about Samsung, I know an employee who work for Sprint and said Samsung suck with getting updates out and support is non existent! I hack my phone, this is another reason I haven't had a reason to switch...Samsung make it ridiculous to hack and updates take century's!

You forget one important fact. Android you have a choice, you don't have to buy a phone that's all touch screen, lock in battery and no sd card. What are the choices Apple provides?

That's the beauty of Android though. Different needs for different people. Accessories are extremely important for me and especially since there are so many Android devices, it's important for me to check what the manufacturer designs for the phones first, prior to branching out to 3rd party accessories. Motorola by far outshines the rest of the companies for this. Since my phone is used for both personal and business, Motorola found a way to do this the best (from what I've seen thus far).

The One X would likely have been my phone of choice, if that came out instead of the EVO 3D. Since it didn't, it put me in a position where Motorola announced that they'd have their first full Android superphone for Sprint...and the MoPho was definitely worth the wait and more suitable for my needs than the EVO 3D.

Right now, my intention is to wait for Motorola's next Sprint superphone...compare between that and the One X and which one would suit my needs. If neither really would provide anything more for me in my daily life, then I'll be keeping the MoPho until the next year. I'm just glad that HTC got rid of the 3D b.s. I hated the 3D aspect of last year's EVO.

You are putting everyone into one basket, which is wrong. Especially those of us who feel nothing in reference to your claims. As for other people, I think it is obvious what kind of result you will get from the majority of people when you ask questions like that on an Android forum. I would assume that much is at least common sense.

I've never purchased an extended battery before and I likely never will. I take my product for what it is at face value. I can understand why people do not like the fact that it has a non-removable battery, but to say that it is a deal breaker is rather ludicrous.

Are there any rumors regarding Motorolas next higher end device?
