The first paragraph in the article says

"The Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Motorola Droid Razr Smartphone could arrive as early as next month or as late as April."

The article was written on March 20th, so 'as early as next month' is April - or it could be here 'as late as April'.
Nice. Another article where you have wonder who does the proof-reading.

That aside, it would be nice to believe that it will be here next month, but I'm old and jaded, I'll believe it when I see it on my phone. :)

Not to sound rude or bust anybody's bubble, but I think the article was written on January 24, 2012. Today is March 20th and I think that site post today's date at the top. So that is probably the reason for why it is quoted as early as next month or late April.

Ah, that is the site date rather than the post date, which is the way that I read it. That makes more sense from a syntax point of view.
And makes the info even less believable. :)
I'm still firmly in the 'believe it when I see it' camp. Looking forward to it, but not holding my breath...

Look at the list Moto put out. Every single Verizon device is at stage 1, while the non-Verizon versions for many of them have expected dates. Unless you think Moto just decided to not bother with ANY phone on Verizon, they're working on it in parallel with the non-Verizon phones and not allowed to post anything about it. Expect the update on the Verizon version shortly after the global version.

(Although yeah, I'll be shocked if we get it next month).

I really don't want the ICS as the phone didn't come with it and have had two other phones that got updated after I had them for awhile which was Froyo on the Fascinate and then Gingerbread on the Revolution and it just screwed them phones up. Was looking at reviews of HTC Incredible which my daughter has and seems the same thing once GB was put on that phone it screwed it up, so what I'm saying is people want ICS and it might mess phone up plus as soon as they get ICS a new OS will be on the way out and the people will be crying again, when is my phone going to get the new OS.
