Darbs is one of the sweetest dogs I've ever met. Personally, I'm a small dog guy. Love dachshund, corgys and beagles. Ahhh, one day :D

Small ones are cute.....from a distance. Personal opinion only (thankfully one that I share with Darth as well). There are exceptions but its a total individual basis. My aunt had a dog that was about the size of a beagle but was a mutt. Even the vet didn't know what he was. But he was the sweetest most lovable dog. And didn't bark. Its the yapping and jumping I Can Not Stand.

Dislike Jessica a lot. Cold as ice. Last week's Turn the Beat Around was pitchy (as Randy says) and she could NOT find the beat. No diversity - just ballads for her. Don't understand the standing O's. I don't see a favorite for me so far.

Agreed. I'm getting kind of sick of the "Oh my gosh, thank you!" schtick whenever she gets a compliment. I'm kind of looking forward to her shocked face when she goes home eventually (she'll probably make it to the top 3 or 4 though).

My favorite this season is between Colton, Elise, or Philip Phillips (what the frak were his parents thinking when they named him?).

Each of them has a very distinctive voice that I like a lot. I just wish Colton would take that dead skunk off his head.

For sure. My aunt and uncle adopted this beagle. They found her on the side of the road in upstate NY. Apparently the owner used their beagles for hunting (you know, shoot the bird, dog finds em). They didn't have enough time to take care of them since they lived in the city most of the time (1st world problems ) so they let her go. She was the sweetest beagle and every time I'd visit I was in love.
HOWEVER, she is an attention whore. You leave the room for more than 20min and she'll start wimpering and hollering like no tomorrow. Was one of the best moments of visiting the family while I was at culinary school. :D

I have a few this year that stand out to me. Colton (who reminds me a bit of Adam Lambert), Phillip, and Skyler. Whether I enjoy their genre of music or not, I cannot argue their talent, and they all seem to have the performance and personality gene that some of the other contestants are missing. Jessica has talent, but I agree with the statement that ballads are her thing. Either way, I think it's gonna be a slug-fest once they get to 4 or so.

I deactivated my Facebook account a couple of weeks ago, and I think it's the best thing I ever did. It's been an interesting accidental experiment to see who bothers to stay in touch via other means - I'm an avid Google Plus user, and I offered my info there, as well as on Twitter, plus my Google Talk and my number for texting - so far it's totally not who I expected. So that's a lesson in itself, but there are lots of other reasons I've been glad to leave Facebook behind.

I have had both, a one hundred pound malamute, Great dog, stubborn to train, but very loving. He developed the equivalent of MS for a dog and at six, I had to put him down. So sad! And now, we have the little guy I posted a picture of a couple of days ago. He was a rescue, we got him when he was a year and a half. We trained him to be a therapy dog and took him to work with us every day. He was more popular than us to our patients, lol. Now we are all retired and he is living the easy life. He has always had a great personality, does not know he is only four pounds and has a deep little bark, never yippy. But now at 14, he has cataracts, is losing his hearing and a year and a half ago fell and and broke his neck. He was paralyzed for about a month and on Christmas Eve managed to stand up and take a few steps. Today, he wears a little neck brace and runs around like nothing happened. He has been a joy and when his time comes, we will surely miss him. Before him, I was a big dog person, but he has totally converted us to the little ones.

He is really adorable, and sounds like a little trooper!

I have a Google + account but really haven't used it. I know it's far more capable but I'm already in the Facebook ecosystem and don't think I need to expand my social media uses.

I love it! I'm not a facebooker at all, too many friends trying to hook up I just don't have time to chat with 500 old friends :p

On G+ we have the family circle, only my family and my wifes family (everyone has kids except me) and it's so nice to just have us and no outsiders posting they are headed to the grocery store and getting a pedicure!
