I am rooted and unlocked, but all stock. I would consider myself a light user, as I am usually at home or work, both with wifi. I am in a 3g area only with good signal, except at home but I do have a network extender there. Even in 4g areas I got much better battery life than I am right now.

I have been consistently getting over 48 hours per battery with light use. This is one the vzw extended battery. For the past two weeks my battery life has been poor with the Android OS chewing up 50-80% of my battery. I attached a screen shot from yesterday where I probably didnt use my phone for more than 10 minutes total. How to I find whats causing it?

I have tried deleting all apps I am not using, signing out of google+ and google talk, and I dont use facebook.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

First things first, how in the world are you getting over 48 hours per battery charge? I never get over 12-15. I'm on wifi almost 100% of the time, use Juice Defender. I have been on battery for about 7 hours today and only have 26% left.

like he said....he is a lite user not in a 4g area. 10 minutes of screen on time in a day is like NEVER using your phone.

OP, there are a few things you can check into.
first things first...i would do a reboot.
next, click on android OS and see what the CPU total to awake time is.
also check out better battery stats. i haven't used it but some people swear by it. it takes your current battery usage stats and put them on steroids and gives you TONS of options and readings so you can pinpoint you problem.

This particular battery screenshot is well below average use for me, I really didnt use it at all yesterday. Before I was losing 10-15% overnight, but in the last two weeks its been 30-45% overnight.
The cpu total is 10hr 28min and keep awake time 17hr 4min. So something is using it, just have to figure out what. I have been extremely satisfied with my battery life up until the last two weeks. I will check out better battery stats and see what I come up with.

You need to use better battery stats to identify it. I have a writeup on how to do it in my signature. Its $3 from the market but I think you can find it for free on XDA forums.

My guess is google backup. I had it get stuck in an 11 hour backup that drained my battery. It could also be any of the other sync's on the phone that got hung up. I recommend only syncing what is necessary. Contacts, calendar, and gmail. I choose to sync my browser bookmarks as well but its obviously not critical. I also check my work email via pop3 every half hour. There's more info in the link in my signature.

I had done multiple battery pulls and full discharges then full charges trying to make sure nothing was stuck running.

I downloaded better battery stats, but really couldn't identify anything that was causing my high os usage.

For some reason in the last couple days it has reverted back to the way it was before, with no changes by me.

Screenshot attached. 31% remaining and just over 48 hours of life. (granted this is with two overnight idle times)
Screen on time 43 minutes
voice calls 36 minutes
probably 15 or so text messages

On better battery stats, does anyone know what 'kworker' is referring to? It always makes up the majority of my results...

kworker is normal for processes. Don't worry about processes so much. You need to see what's triggering your processor when your phone is not in use. Check 'partial wakelocks' instead. You are looking for partial wakelocks that are at the top of the list with a lot of minutes running.
