Great Question!

i used the speed kernal can you explain what this does. is it like an overclocking but without changeing the cpu if that makes sense
no the speed kernel only has minfree tweaks :D minfree is the android stock internal task killer, they are a set of numbers that represent how much ram is allowed for a specific use ie: background apps, or hidden apps..

the stock settings are a higher value which means the systems lets more things happen in the background before it starts to cleanup after itself

by lowering these values it forces the android system to keep More Ram available at all times so you will notice windows opening faster and a smoother swappiness with your screen and overall reactiveness will be greater

this is a safe common tweak most developers use for custom roms, there's no scripts re-writing any functions of the rom its just a simple value change..

i've unplugged my phone about 40 minutes ago and been playing around here and there and my battery is still at 100% lol so it stops unneeded background proccesses as well at a safe rate

YUP!!! I did it haha, got a fully functioning stock zvd kernel :D pulled from stock zvd backup, than ran through disxda kitchen to add root perm to ramdisk(now we can pull data via adb and push files via adb)

nothing special was done to this.. it is for the true developers to use for future kernels :D

as for now it is the boot.img for LD-LG ZVD im releasing tonite :D untill someone else makes a better one!! lol

works with modules from stock zvd (included with zip)

yes you can flash this if you are on zvd and/or using the ld-lg alpha build.. but i reccomend flashing ld-lg official release for avoiding any issues

Stock Root ZVD Kernel

hell yeah can i flashed this know I'm using ld lg alpha 2 or should i wait

:) just wondering wats the benefit of havin this kernel? is it better
its the only kernel for zvd as of now so yeah its better lol..

if you have zvd and are using the ld-lg alpha or anything on zvd you only have it on the stock kernel which has no root perm, your phone is still rooted but you cant do some things still without a rooted kernel like pull data/app via adb and remount to push system files via adb

so now if you flash this kernel you will have complete 100% root privilages

Oh I see since I'm only rooted and stock without being debloated I might just go with this kernel until roms become available how is battery life with this kernel as we speak zvd is better and this kernel might even make it better I mean can it get any smoother

well i didn't make any 'other' adjustments to the kernel, it is stock with root priv lol so i cant garuntee any speed or nything, but we have a rom.. ld-lg zvd 1.8, has some tweaks in build.prop that a lot of people like :D seems to have better battery life :D

the dropbox server is showing no love for esteem community it just too much traffic for them too handle also was unable to get any of the kernels.due to above reason.
