UK Pre-order deals

I know I could probably get better deals elsewhere, but I think I'm going to stick with Orange. Anywhere else and it looks as though I'd have to go for a 24 month contract, but with Orange, I have the option of 18 months if I want.

Incidentally, it looks as though O2 will potentially be getting it on the 5th: O2 UK Getting HTC One X April 5th

I agree with you on this El Prez, but usually the best deals are via the retentions team, which by that time the Sammy S3 will be out i guess and hopefully the prices would have dropped.

and not to mention there's more chance to save via topcashback or quidco, but most of the deals over 18months are in the

Never done the retention thing before, but I might give it a try this time. I want to switch to a plan which has tethering enabled by default. Anyway, I'm getting off topic, apologies.

Most of the pre order deals I've seen are no contract options but if the networks are starting to advertise deals for it, I'll need to have a proper look around.

I never get a phone on contract, preferring to buy outright.that way I can sell on my current phone without too much of a loss.and i don't have to wait too long before i can upgrade as i would have with a contract..plus I don't have to put up with bloatware. I get enough minutes, texts and data on pay as you go..

I always look at it from a TCO perspective but unfortunately going the buying your handset outright cant be made for everyone as not everyone has an available

300 minutes 3000 texts and500mb data..... that won't last long.....
I get the same minutes and texts but unlimited data for £15 on three. last month i used 4.5gb data. thats why i don't go contract.

again, everyone has different circumstances and needs, i dont actually use THAT much data on the go but with the HTC One X, i think my behaviour will change with its usage.

I still think the deal by zooby is still pretty good considering its only over 12 months.
