If your asking I say wait, there is obviously something about your phone that has you worried. If my phone was all set up just the way I wanted there is no way I'd do this update and start over...but it was only a couple weeks old and I was thinking about a reset anyway just to start over and fix it up the way I wanted, get rid of stuff I thought was cool and never used etc. Plus I was just feeling really geeky that day so I did it. Its really nice and I've seen some improvements, BUT those improvements are not worth it if its gonna take you 2 days to get the phone back the way you like it...my $0.02

I haven't heard of anyone bricking their phone yet....but who knows I guess....this has to be about the easiest update to install.

im pretty sure its a fact that no one will brick their phone considering i was able to update without bricking mine :D:D ... but in regards to the op i agree with outkast if there is nothing in 2.1 you cant live without then i would say no. that said i updated just because there is not a downside ... you get all the new features (with a few minor bugs(i have only had 2 very minor bugs that do not affect me)) and when the OTA comes most everybody is agreed that we will get it and if there are any bug fixes then we will get them if not and it is the same as the leak then you get it without having to wait.
