Htc just posted on facebook that ICS is released for vivid. ATT website confirms it with os 4.0 listed on their support site as well.
So how many of you are checking for software updates every day, even though your phone does that automatically for you?
By the time ICS lands on the Evo 3D, I'll be heading to buy the Evo One X (or whatever it will end up being called).
Went to the Sprint Store yesterday to upgrade one of my family members to an iphone. While I was there I asked a guy about ICS. Firstly, he showed me his 3D which had it already on it. I played with it for a tad. He said all signs point to the end of April.
Thats about it.
Any way of knowing if that was a rooted deal or for real??
With the announcement about htcsense.com could this mean we'll be getting ICS after April 30th?

Not necessarily. HTC recently announced that they conceded the point that Sense got cluttered. Article can be seen here: HTC says Sense UI 'got cluttered' before latest redesign | The Verge
The annoucement on htcsense.com could just be a part of the 'spring cleaning' and have no impact on ICS release dates. As the services related to htcsense.com are contacts, footprint data, and other various services, not the actual skin itself. It'd be a little late in the game for massive renovations now.

"In addition, we have some great ways to get apps that are integrated with these new APIs featured on various HTC channels, such as HTC HUB. HTC HUB allows users to download relevant content that makes their device more useful and their lives more efficient, organized, and entertaining. Most importantly for you, HTC Hub allows you to get better market reach, better visibility, and more downloads."
Yes, Spring cleaning indeed. Likely no relation to Ice Cream Sandwich releases, and more likely correlated to Sense 4.0 and the release of the One Series of handsets?
HTC has stated that they want to update and streamline their services plus reinvigorate and push the HTC Hub going forward (HTCSense.com's portal to our phone - you can't use the Hub Application on your phone without a HTCSense.com log in).
Since we are probably getting Sense 3.6 with our Ice Cream Sandwich, the HTCSense.com changes probably will not effect us much and will instead be optimized for Sense 4.0 only phones and the HTC One series?
Also check out HTCHub.com. Looks like a possible placeholder, with One X in the preview picture on the browser navigation bar?
(Not to be confused with HTC-Hub.com - French/EU News Site that centers around HTC community and rumors)
Maybe I'm just reading into things too far just like the next guy who knows...
