so we have not got our eris's rooted just yet but that has got me thinking......


When you want to mess with the software on apples iphone what do you do? " jail break" it wellwhat about for the droid you root it so heres my conclusion

with the iphone your jailbreaking it as if breaking from the prison that is iphones bland software.

But when you root your droid its almost as if your making it grow or do more functions such as a tree is rooted and helps everyone out..


plus i heard that if you jailbreak your iphone jobs comes to your house and hurts the closest living relative....YIKES!

Eh, he's just sharing his thoughts. I've seen worse random threads. At least this is a breath of fresh air.

I've never rooted a device before, but I hope that it's as easy as jailbreaking an iPhone is. With b1ackrain it was a one-click, you're done. It just shouldn't be harder than flashing 2.1, which was really easy...for me..
