Hi guys,

I am having a Samsung P7500 Galaxy tab,

I had sent it overseas with my wife, bu before that I called my service provider and get the Sim unlocking code, then I tried with different Sim and it was asking code we enter and it was all good. she took it overseas and enter local Sim, it was working fine, then move to different city use there local Sim, working fine but when she tried to enter different Sim again, it was asking for Sim unlocking code again,

she has enter too many codes before calling me, like 00000 then 12345, so and so, when she called me and I had given the code which I was having from service provider, she entered and getting message that network unlocking is unsuccessful.

Now what????? If my tab is permanently locked, or is there any option....
if rooting is solution, or something els.

I tried to Google it, no good....

can some one help me here or at lest give me answer that its possible to unlock or not.

thanks everybody for at lest looking this tread

ok....
1st of all thanks for your suggestion.

now few question. as the tab is in India, and they are trying India sim so I need to find out the Indian Sim PUK code or PUK code from Australian provider who has given me the tab.

also want to add. that my partner has tried 2 or 3 different sim but all the sim was from same provider.... (Vodafone)

Once the device is unlocked, it will never lock itself again - this is a separate section of memory for the device and can only be locked again by the manufacturer. But as mentioned, the SIM has a Personal Unblocking Code (PUK) that locks the SIM to prevent other people using your carrier account. You need the PUK code to unlock the SIM card. Call the carrier of the SIM card.
