Root beats by dre

Anybody running the Radiance RC rom with Beats by Dre ? Anyways if you are ,my beats keeps force closing or when it's not force closing there's no sound. I haven't had this rom for long, never heard the beats yet. clos

moved you to the rooting section.

have you tried wiping dalvik cache and cache? this usually fixes most small issues like this.

Which radiance version is it? Some of the early ones it didn't work. You will also probably need the anthrax kernel for it to make an actual sound difference. For awhile it was baked in but I'm not sure which versions of radiance have it and which ones don't.

As mentioned in the post above me, there are a couple things that need to happen for beats to work properly.

1) you need ROM support for it (many of the sense 3.5 ROMS have this)
2) you need Kernel support for it. AnthraX is the ONLY kernel to support it because it has beats code baked in (and why it was taken down for legal reasons)

You have to go to setting > tweaks > misc > turn beats audio on

This Rom comes with the anthrax kernel so it does work you just need to enable
