Do you notice that icon on your statusbar that looks like a circle with lines on the top, left, right and middle of the circle? Eww! That's gross! Yea, that's how I felt too. It's just always on and I don't really want to look at it.

It's just telling you that GPS Privacy Setting is "Location On." The only way to get rid of it is by changing it to E911 Only, but then you'll never be able to GPS unless you go into settings and enable it.

So..

I turned that png (image) file into nothing but a transparent background. The png file itself is 1 kb, so if you know how to change it yourself, I uploaded the png file. It's in the framework-res.apk file in \res\drawable-hdpi\

Ok, this isn't perfectly pretty, but it works.

I don't know how to compile my own zip files yet so.

I just copied a file into someone else's installer thing (It was a zip that installed Application Manager 1.1, so while it's installing it's going to say "Application manager"

It's not my proudest piece of work, but it works.

It doesn't change anything except for 1 png file, and really, there's an invisible icon still there, but whatever, out of sight and out of mind.

Thanks to ShinySide for teaching me the bootleg way to make changes to pngs. :D

Ok, I realized that this doesn't work.

Well, it does, but yea, it has the whole framework in it, so it's going to change all the icons.

By any chance, did your lockscreen icons change too?

I REMOVED THE FILES. The png method works, but the zip method doesn't because it's the full framework-res.apk file. If you want to do this but don't know how, pm me and I'll be glad to tell you step by step how to do it manually.

Sorry Akurse, did you back up? It's basically the stock Broken out 1.1 with the battery icons and lockscreen icons changed through UOT Kitchen.

Yeah I the lock screen changed also, but I kinda like this one :p also the battery, I let you know if anything else changed
Edit: idk if its from the zip but every time I change my icons via from tool box, it resets my wallpaper to my rom's default one.

You have to restart after you change icons on Rom Toolbox.

Umm, I'm pretty sure it's just the text. I didn't include the kernel.

If you want to keep the battery icon and lock screen icons, I would go back to your backup, and get them changed at UOT Kitchen which is where I got them. You need to use Android Commander and pull your framework-res.apk and systemUI.apk files. It's really quite simple and you can use UOT Kitchen to theme up your whole phone.

If you have skype, or wanna call, I can walk you through it. It's the best newbie way to customize your icons.
