so, as many people probably do I am running cm9 on my triumph and today while browsing the market and in all of my glorious intelligence I decided to dl instagram since its available for android...

anyway it does not work on cm9 lol

The camera doesn't work for cm9 yet, that would have something to do with it, I think.

Well, it works on my Kindle Fire and that doesn't have a camera. Are you saying that the app doesn't work at all, or that you can't take pictures with it?

well its probably cm9 that causes the camera to not function therefore not allowing camera apps to work.

But the app works even if there is no camera, so it may be something else. Which is what I was trying to say when referring to my KF (that has no camera).
@OP does the app work at all besides taking pics? Like the network part or the filter stuff on lics on the sd card (not actually trying to take them)?

I was able to install the app on CM9 and do everything besides post pictures. Not sure why you're having a problem.

instagram off the market is broken.

I installed a thunderbolt and droid incredible 2 build.prop mod and none made it work.

It only worked after sideloading the apk. now it works and updates JUST FINE, even on stock build.prop. but the market version didnt work.


once u get a version that works, it works VERY well.
