Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Hey everyone. I have been having a bit of a problem.

I have my phone set for wifi and like today i went to update my apps. They start downloading, screen goes off and it's like data stops. I'll come back to it later and nothing has downloaded and it just shows downloading in the play app. I kill the downloads restart them and sit there messing with my phone until they are done.

Now I have it set to always under the advanced settings for wifi. Also, I noticed under AOKP there is the performance setting and in there they have options, but I have never changed them. It's set to do nothing, or something like that.

Any ideas?

I experience the same occassionally. Not a big deal for me to mess with my phone till downloads are done though...only takes a couple of seconds to a couple of minutes for the largest files.

That's not unreasonable. ^

You should see when we do family cruises - three women, all of us with a shoe problem. There's a dedicated shoe suitcase. And get this - my parents take a cruise every year, just the two of them. They usually go out of Cape Liberty so there's no flying. Next year they changed plans a little and are doing one from Florida .....here's the kicker, they are taking the train down so that Mom can still bring ALL her usual luggage, including the shoecase!!!

So, quick question....how do you delete old attachments you've uploaded? I'm getting close to 75% of my allowable file limit.

You mean like photos that are part of your posts? If you delete them then your old posts will have a broken link. You can use an off-site storage place like photobucket. The links work great and photos are resized automatically.

Hope this was what you were asking about. :)

Yep, that's what I'm asking about, but I have some posts that were of useless photos and don't care if they are broken. I can't get to photo sharing sites here at work so I have to default to uploading as attachments. When I run out of space I won't be able to add more pics here :(

Are you blocked from drop box at work too? I only ask because I can't use photo sharing sites at work either but drop box is still an approved site.

User CP, then at the very bottom is an "attachment" link. You can check and mass delete your attachments from there.
