SMS Activity Log?

Hi there,

I was wondering if there is an SMS activity log somewhere on the Hero / Android phone?

I could do with the telephone number of a text message I received but deleted without thinking!

If I could find a log then I could get the number? I'm not interested in the text itself, just the number from which it came.

Any help would be much appreciated.

You can long press any sms msg and see the phone number and also a menu of options pops up that you can view the details ...

Thanks for revealing the 'long press' thing too, I didn't know that existed! The problem is though I've deleted the SMS already, thats why I was wondering if there is some log somewhere - like at a system level that may require an app to get to it - that loged activity in and out.

To my knowledge no there is not ... I dont even now if the carrier has a record of the text msg ... they may ? I would advise getting the app Txtract ...with it you can archive your sms message from the phone to your sdcard ... and then delete them from your phone ... this helps with performance of the phone
