Help Boot up problem - HELP HELP HELP

Hi all,

I was cleaning out a bunch of junk apps, photos, etc from the phone. Stock phone - no rooting or anything like that.

Rebooted, and now it wont actually turn on.

I've taken out the battery, waited quite some time, rebooted again and still nothing.

This is what happens:

Power Button turn on phone = "HTC Incredible" screen comes on. This lasts a few minutes.

Then it switches to "HTC - Quietly Brilliant". This lasts another few minutes.

Then it is followed by the red "DROID" screen and the audio that says "DROID"

Then it gets to the Droid "EYE" which does its little animation thing, and then stays like that for a long time.

From here, one of two things happens. It will either start again with "HTC Incredible"

OR

Will get to a black screen with the pull down unlock, but it says No Service but the time is displayed correctly. From here, if I try to pull down to unlock, there is no response. It just stays like that. After a long time here, it goes back to the "HTC Incredible" start again.

SUPER ANNOYING - Please help. I have no issues with completely wiping the phone, but I can't do that without actually getting into it.

I'd try this first:
Safe Mode - DROID INCREDIBLE by HTC
If that don't work, then try this (the alternate method)
