zte warp rooting after B08C update,CWM recoveries and custom rom step by step processes.
if it wasent for knoxville363 i would have never been able to get the processes down the way i did.SO THANK U KNOXVILLE363!
AFTER making the mistake of doing the ZTE update tool and losing my root, and after about 2 days of trial and error..i finally have a exact step by step way of rooting from the update to installing a custome Rom.i also have the correct software and methods,so it can be done quick and easy and on the first try.im not going to get into it all over a thread cuz i wouldent be able to type again for weeks.lol.so if anyone needs the software or steps.let me know.this was the first time ever that i have done sumthing like this to a fone.but i did it to my gf"s warp afterwards with the same methods and has it all rooted and custom rom it about 15 minutes from start to finish.so i guess im doing sumthing right.lol.

Hi Knoxville(anyone who can help), Brian here. Hey I just got the warp yesterday and I've been studying your videos on how to root this phone . Now I have the b08c update and tried step by step with your video on how to root after the new update. I got frustrated cuz when I downloaded the ZTE.rare driver u said to right click and extract it. I did not see a option for me to do so. Then the USB debugging was on and I clicked unknown sources but in the status bar was only the USB icon. I couldn't get the little gray Android icon to come up. Only the USB icon pops up not the Android. What am I doing wrong? I really want to root my boost mobile warp. Do u have a written step by step on how to root a updated ZTE warp? If so I'd love to have it, thanks.

hey briisbak. u need to get the 'zte-drivers.zip... unzip it and then install it. thats the driver u need to make your usb debugging work with your computer. the zte.rar is the clockwork recovery. i have that file if u want it. just give me ur email and ill send a attatchment to u. i also have a different clock recovery that u need to get it rooted again. couldent ever get the zte.rar to work.the one i have was super easy. just one click and it installed the recovery to my fone.i dont remember the links but got the files on hand. just let me know..

Make sure to back up your old version first and that y ou have cwm recovery on boot up screen. Worked fine for me. CPU usage is way down and phone performance is great now! I am a noob. Can someone please explain the process of rooting my phone from beginning to end in layman's terms? I have read all the above stuff and don't understand. I have the drivers installed for my phone and computer to communicate with each other i believe.( i believe this was done automatically when i plugged my phone into my computer?) i understand that I have to download files? what is "cwm" ? Please help?

Ok, I am trying to do it the way knoxville is telling us, and I get all the way to the point where I'm in cwm and I hit install zip from sd card. It then says "E: can't mount /sdcard/ ". Not sure what the problem is, and not really finding the answer online. Anyone overcome the same problem? Thanks

just use the nandroid bo8c with root by woodstock

Cwm is clockwork mod and you need to download pdanet snake x one click install for cwm and the superuser.zip move the superuser to your sd then use the one click install extract zte.rar click run me follow the instruction once your in cwm on your phone choose install zip from sd and select superuser and if you get the problem with the sd card fix permissions and make sure its mounted in the system (go to advanced)( in cwm)) and choose mounts and storage and check to see if sd is mounted
