This is in my app drawer:

You can scroll forever and see thousands of apps available on the market.
But all of a sudden, it wont do anything when I click on one of the categories.
It either searches forever with the little searching icon spinning, or it will say "no relevant content found".
Once or twice, it said there was no internet connection, when I knew there was.

Its an awesome way to find apps by category, and I'm super-bummed that it quit working.

Any ideas anybody?
Rebooting does nothing for it.

Thank you very much.

Not for nothing, but how are/were you viewing apps in Google Play from your app drawer? Are you using something third party?

Just GoLauncher

Its in menu>preferences>general settings>app drawer settings>app drawer display>show app search
(horizonal loop)
And I just looked again and it says "cannot connect to network". But my internet works fine.

I've never used it, but you have the option (for every app) to go into your settings and clear the data and cache for a given app. You try that, and then set up your preferences for it again. Deleting and reinstalling might work too.

Thank you. I'm trying that right now.

Edit: Well, that was a big waste of time.
I completely uninstalled GoLauncher (and I only had about half of my settings backed-up) and re-installed everything, and the app search thing still says can't connect.
WTF I am po'ed.

I remember under Android category, it showed 58,000 apps, 12,000 under widgets, 1,200 under transparency, 1,000 under Go apps, etc, etc. Way more than a hundred thousand apps.
All lined up in a row (in no order at all) waiting to be clicked on to go straight to the play store.
It's the neatest thing in the world.
And all of a sudden it won't work..DI...

The Devs for the app. Google Play can't help you as all they do is host the file that you load into your phone.

Which app?
I'm trying to see the whole list(s) of apps. It's like a catalog of apps that you scroll through (endlessly) until you see something interesting.
Then you click on that one and it takes you to the Play Store where the full description and the download button is.
It tried to display the Android list (one of many categories) a minute ago but stopped after showing about a dozen (out of 58,000).
And those 12 didn't have their icons (instead of the generic "Android" icon you can see):

I'm sorry I'm not too good at explaining myself.
I have that problem a lot.

I wish somebody that's using GoLaunchEx would come along and let me know if they have the same problem. Then I would know if my phone is the problem or if the search...venue?...is on the fritz.
It was working just fine yesterday.
I was finding all kinds of neat apps that you wouldn't even think of looking for otherwise.

OP, this looks like a bug in their app. I would definitely email the Go team, so they can fix that in a future update.

I also had "custom size icons" checked in app drawer settings which I changed to "default" the same time I changed the grid to 5x5.
This was actually the problem, as the app search query that I sought displays icons, and couldn't display with what were larger icons.
I don't recall enlarging the icons, but that's neither nor there.
I wouldn't consider this a bug, except the bug in my head that created the problem.
So no harm, no foul.
(Except for wasting your time. Sorry).
Good Night
