Root Rooted LG Vortex. Now doesn't work. PLEASE HELP!!

Hello!!

I have a LG Vortex with Verizon. It was really slow. So, I downloaded Gingerbreak and Titanium Backup. I backed up all file, then proceeded to root the phone... Then I got a little heavy handed with the removal of bloatware. I got rid of LG Home and Bing. Then rebooted my phone, only to find it wouldn't go past the Verizon screen.

So I did a hard reset by using power - vol down and home buttons, letting go of the power button only to boot up to the set-up screen. It allowed me to select a language, retrieve my contacts and sync emails. After that it said "The application Setup Wizard (process com.android.setupwizard) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

I now just have a black screen and can receive text messages and calls, but not initiate my own text messages and calls - because it's blank. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

You are gonna have to google a way to return back to stock otherwise you may have to take it back to Verizon for a replacement or to purchase a new device.

Hi,

Yeah I went to Verizon and they said that all they can do is hard reset. I just can't afford a new phone at all and am trying to get a business up and running.. Hehe, life always sends more challenges at the most challenging times!!

This happened to me and I used another phone to email or text the android market link to any launcher (adw, golauncher, etc.) The texts and emails still come up even though the screen is black. Then when you follow the link it should let you install this launcher. After that just hit the home key and it should load that launcher and bring up the regular screen.
