Help message problems

About a month ago I downloaded the sms pop up app. And I decided it wasn't for and uninstalled it. The problem I have note is when I receive a text message there is no sound for the message alert and I don't know how to fix.appreciate any help thank you.

Go into settings-sounds and make sure the volume is turned up and that a notification sound is selected(not on silent)

Ok so I checked everything and is all set correctly. This problem occured after I un installed the sms pop up app. I am using the stock message app and I don't get why I can't get any sound

Just to verify-your sound is working for everything else right:thinking:
My first Esteem blew the speaker after only 3 weeks of use is why I ask.

Probably, you or that program ( SMS POPUP ) disabled the notification sound of the stock message (SMS ), so I think you should click on the icon of the stock SMS and once it is active (running) go to settings by pressing the button 'menu', once you are under 'settings' then scroll down until you are at the 'notification settings' and check out if the option 'Notifications' is 'enabled' (IT MUST BE ENABLED) for it to work, also right there check out the option 'Select ringtone' and see if any ringtone is selected other than 'silent'. Hope this can help you out. Regards.
