I purchased an unlocked Galaxy Nexus that is being delivered on Thursday. I am with AT&T and have an iPhone 4. Can I simply take the sim card out of the iPhone and put it in the Galaxy and hope I am connected?

If not, what do I have to do?

This question has probably been asked and answered before, I did try to search for it, but could not find it. Sorry for any duplication.

But you will be hearing from me a lot in the future as I am learning new things by the hour.... Now I have to find out what wakjuxw is and if my phone has it.......

The first thing you'll need is an adapter (like the one in the picture below). Since the iPhone 4 uses a micro SIM and the Nexus uses a standard SIM, you'll need an adapter in order to use the micro SIM in the Nexus. You can easily find them on eBay or Amazon.

But as long as the phone is unlocked, you should be able to activate right after placing the SIM (plus adapter) in the phone.

Thanks, I have the adapter. Someone somewhere told me a while back I would need one of those if I ever did this, so I got it then.

So, when I plug in the sim card and turn on the phone, I will be able to call, surf and text?
