Root Screen Fix Finally :)

Don't make theses changes unless you know what you're doing
We have liftoff, Samsung Drools Scerini RULES
Get rom toolbox and go to the build.prop Tweaks change LCD density to 157 and max events to 241 then go back to the home screen and drag and drop your icons to you hearts content :).
I'm doing complete 360's dragging and dropping icons over and over let me know and thanks if I help you

*156 and below is kind of sketchy on LCD density and things can get fuzzy on you
*164 and up is just going to make your screen almost like zoomed in and make more problems you don't want probably also returns the touchscreen bug back at around 180
*Max events you can kinda play around with depending on how much stuff you have running on your phone
*You may need to revert the changes back to stock to make google playstore recognize your phone as compatible

This is what I see, I dont see any "max events"

This doesn't seem to be working for me. There might be some improvement, but it's pretty random as it has always been. I had to manually add max events and I don't have ring delay. I've tried all kinds of combinations of higher & lower density & max events. I do notice it seems to be a lot dependent on how good my initial touch is. If touch an icon with a good part of my index finger print it usually locks pretty good. If I use the tips of my finger or any part of my thumb it's more random. If I get that good initial lock on an icon I can slide it to just the tip of my finger and it works pretty good.

Works great for me! I don't why you had to manually add max events and ring delay doesn't concern for what were trying to accomplish with this so that's fine. I would stay within the ranges I mentioned other wise it won't work and there will be a worse bug if your not careful!

I'm using all 10 fingers and all 10 toes and dragging icons so let me know how I can help you

I'm running shevron 5.1 rooted of course.. I'm using the lite version of romtoolbox and changing the settings to exactly the numbers you prescribe and not noticing any difference.. I'm going to open buildprop on my comp and see if changes are being applied.

Edit: changes are definitely applied... since screen density is 160 by default Im going to leave it there and drop max events some more see if I can get a positive result..
