Dialing 88 no longer works to get BOOST

Before with BOOST when you called them you could just press 88 and it would think you were a dealer and put you right through to a customer service representative immediately.

YIKES...it no longer works. You have to have an actual dealer code. Does anyone know of a new way of getting around a ton of menu's and voicemail recordings and get lucky enough to speak to someone ???

There has to be another work around. 88 made it so easy to get question answered without trying to navigate their complicated system.

Thanks in advance for any help.

1 877 438 8643 works for me everytime...Goes right to a rep...[/QUO

I always dialed the 800 # on their website and then dialed 88 and got a rep. I do not know where you got this 800 #, but it works and your right on, there is not even voice mail to contend with, it goes directly to a rep. Great number to have. There are times on the old line you could not even get a rep no matter what option you chose.

Thanks again ! Great find.:D

Yeah...before I would wait on hold and go through menu's literally for 20-30 minutes before I could get a live agent. Very fustrating especially when small issues that do come up from time to time, more often then not. Then I read about dialing 88 and you would get a live agent. It worked. They would asked for a dealer code and I would just give them my phone number an act like nothing was wrong. Worked everytime until today. Now when you dial 88 an automated message comes on and asks for you to input your dealer code. And, no your phone number won't work. lol.

Thanks again Cymo...for the new or old but new to me 800#. I can not believe it. No voice mail, NOTHING...just a live agent ready to answer questions, give advice, haha, and fix issues. Makes it so nice not to have to navigate voice mail menu's trying to hit 0 and getting no where but more menu's and maybe with some luck and alot of time you MIGHT get a live agent.

Again...great tip !!!!!:D

I dial 611 from my phone and when the recording starts I
dial 88 and get a live person right away :)

Don't mean to be...rude. Did you even read the post. The whole purpose was because the dialing of 88 NO LONGER WORKS ! You must have a dealer code, etc... to enter to get by it. It just changed.

Above in the posts with all the "thanks" a fellow androider provided an 800 number that is apparently not published anywhere. None the less, when you dial it, you go directly to a live agent with zero wait time. Works even better than dialing 88. GOOD LUCK !

Well either way...What ever works best for you guys...Just thought id throw out that number it has yet to fail me.....

I will use the 800 number. I will get the dealer code if he pm's back just to have as a backup. Sooner or later, I am sure they will change that dealer code because too many people will be using it.

Thanks again cynome....:ciao:

Yeah, i noticed that 88 is not good anymore. But anyways just dial 611 then wait for English then press 88 when it asks you for a dealer number just press any 4 digits like 4233 or 1232 watch out don't forget what you typed because the rep will ask you the dealer code again when he answers. Then just tell him your "supposedly" customer problem. Good luck!

When I called from my marquee,I'd remain on hold for a few minutes and then the call would d/c. Happened a few times, it seems like it's about to reach a rep when it does this. Tried calling from my sister's optimus slider, same thing. Called over WiFi using groove ip, I was on hold but the call went through just fine.......the weird!!
