Here are the list of problems/bugs I have found with HTC ONE X:

-FM Radio is not turning on (even with headset) when encryption for mail exchange is enabled
-Bluetooth is not turning on (even with headset) when encryption for mail exchange is enabled
-screen flicker,
-speed issues using Navigator

I've been in contact with HTC and have addressed the issues that I and other people have been having. The rep. is forwarding it to developers and higher authority so they can roll out updates as soon as possible. Whenever a new version of Android comes out, there are numerous bugs that somehow made it past the testing stage. They are, however, very good at listening and I'm sure will bring out updates to fix our problems.
The One X is a spectacular phone and I'm being patient with it in the hope things are solved, I'd strongly urge you to aswell. I'm sure we won't regret it.
In the mean time, it might be worth resetting your phone to factory default to see if anything changes

I actually contacted HTC and they were able to recreate the issues I had related to encryption. I am also hopeful that these will all be resolved as soon as possible. have you experienced the issue with the Bluetooth and fm radio?
I can't say I have, but then I haven't really used either that much. Like I said, just hold tight until we see some updates. I'll keep you posted on what HTC say back

I've been looking at these forums and see nothing but problems. I might just hold off til we see a fix.

Sometimes you can get a false idea about a problem. Internet forum for cars , pc , phone, will tend naturally to get more post from owner experience problem with their new purchase. Whereas owners not having problems tend to post less often

Very true! I am happy to post that I have, so far, had no problems with my phone. Fingers crossed it stays that way. :)

Totally agree. I have an Archos 80 G9 Android tablet and the Archos Fans forum is fully of problem posts but my tablet exhibits almost none of those problems. I'm not saying that people with problems aren't being sincere, but they aren't necessarily representative of the masses.

-speed issues using Navigator
I've started a thread on this to see whether other people have issues. HTC couldn't reproduce the problem (which I guess you can't unless you go for a drive). Is yours to do with the voice?

-App icons on homescreen sometimes disappears and is replaced with an android symbol.

I've only noticed this when connected over USB as a disk drive, and have assumed that it's because storage files are not available to the handset when in this mode.

Aside from Navigator, my main gripe is the lack of a T9 keyboard (unless I've not found it). I type much quicker and more accurately on a numeric pad.

Otherwise, pretty much a fantastic handset. I was just coming here to see what people are doing with it, since I've barely scratched the surface.

Having Similar problems, posted on another thread here. But I've got the same FM and Bluetooth problems with Encrypted storage (Bluetooth did work pre encryption), also GPS not working Cardio trainer and run keeper, although maps works fine.

It's a decent phone, amazing screen, and decent features, but paying serious money to essentially be a beta tester for HTC is not what I signed up for.

i would like to know if there are any alternatives to using the long press search button for voice commands??? since if I'm correct the search button is gone, is there another way to simulate that process??? I use that a ton and am gonna miss that. I'm hoping there's another way without having to place an icon somewhere on my home screen....any suggestions?????

I too have been experiences some of the issues:
  • by flicker in the camera app, its a long bar of pixels with random noise
  • the loading bar in stock internet app also does the noisy pixels from time to time.
I have not seen anyone else talk about this one, and want to make sure HTC cover this in the update

I was experiencing this problem occasionally but have not seen it since updating to 1.28 (that may be coincidental but hopefully it's been fixed).
