Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

My opinion - There is an occasional need to 'hold the jiggle in' really well which is when Spanx come in handy. Otherwise I have to say they are not my favorite thing because they are so restrictive. I know I know, that's its job. :D

Yep. There are some dresses women wear that just aren't flattering if you don't have an extremely toned body. Spanx just smooths things out. Wife doesn't wear them often, but some dresses she doesn't feel comfortable in without it. You'd be surprised how many women wear them, even the "skinny" ones.

Seems like there's good camaraderie here, which there aren't much in my device forum :( nor my some ol' forums that I can't access anymore :$ I have been tempted to change my badge just so I can gossip with some ol chums I used to work with here, lol.

Glad you've decided to stay! We are a friendly bunch and new friends are always welcome.

Supposedly, all those celebrities on the Red Carpet wear Spanxs. That's why they look so 'perfect'.

I stay away from clothes that require one to wear such uncomfortable undergarment. Maybe I'll need it when I'm older...but right now...that's where I draw my line to XD

Well yeah, Spanx and the $$ for a personal trainer to help kick their arses however many times a week they need it.

Indeed! My physique has worsened quite a bit over the last 5 years. In college I was in the best shape of my life because I had some free time to hit the gym every day. Now with work 8-12 hours per day 5-6 and sometimes 7 days a week, house to take care of, maintenance on 3 cars, dinner, laundry, and a wife...I don't have time to spend 2 hours a day in the gym. I'm lucky if I get a 30 minute run in 3 times a week. Really wish I had a couple of hours free 4 days of the week and the energy I had in college to go work out. :(

Meh, I'm all about enjoying life and eating whatever I want in moderation. Extreme workouts and dieting isn't what we should all be doing.

Its the moderation part I have issues with sometimes. but otherwise I agree. And I don't do extreme work outs. I just try to do something other than sit on my tushy

Believe me, I'm not about extreme workouts or dieting either, but I could eat, and did eat, whatever I wanted but I worked it all off in college. Now I'm eating in moderation and exercising when I have time. I'm not bad out of shape, but a far cry from the 7-8% body fat I once was.

Just imagine how much less free time you'll have once you have kids!!!

+1 For me, it's eating smaller meals. That's the best way to increase your metabolism and keeps your body healthy.

I balance my unhealthy eating with going for a 5km/10km run the next day XD

I love to eat. I'm lucky my taste stays with generally healthy foods. I don't like fatty foods, sweets, or baked goods so that helps me stay thin.
Luck you :p Your kids eat healthy too?

So, we got a new guy a couple of months ago in our department and he goes by Russ, but we have to use our full name for signing documents and such and I just found out his real name yesterday: Chick

ROFL!!!!

I guess his parents REALLY wanted a girl. OMG...what a horrible name to have! Hopefully he's a pretty as a chick *ROFL*

Well, they do eat baked goods and sweets, but still enjoy a larger amount of fruits and veggies. And they will grab crackers and cheese over chips (probably because it is easier to swipe it off my plate than get their own).

Worst part about kids is that phase from about 6 - 10 where they will only eat one food. My middle one would eat chicken nuggets 3 meals a day.

Ugh I can't find 75-minute IPA from Dogfish Head anywhere near me. Everyone seems to be sold out or didn't get any bottles.

Probably karma for buying about 15 bottles of 120-minute.

I thought that 75 min was keg only, usually a blend. We have a couple Dfh locations in the area who always have it. Definitely my go to as 60 is too boring and 90 is too sweet.
And 120 is a beast. I've only had it once and never again. WWS is they're only super high gravity beer I like, though Olde School is pretty good too. Yeah, I've had most of their beers.
