Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Although the days of those guys are few... Which is too bad, because most of them have 30-40 years of experience, and have seen EVERYTHING.

Yep, I sit right by a guy with 30+ years of experience. Was in this industry when it was in its infancy and has seen it all. I talk to him to try to learn stuff on a daily basis. Wish I could learn more in his little time he has left, but it's hard to sit down and just say, tell me everything. You usually only learn stuff when situations arise that makes him recall a previous experience.

I thought that 75 min was keg only, usually a blend. We have a couple Dfh locations in the area who always have it. Definitely my go to as 60 is too boring and 90 is too sweet.
And 120 is a beast. I've only had it once and never again. WWS is they're only super high gravity beer I like, though Olde School is pretty good too. Yeah, I've had most of their beers.

Nope not a keg only, but not 12oz bottles either.

I can't do Stouts for some reason so I stick to IPAs and lighter stuff. 120 minute on tap at the brewpub is AMAZING though.

Ah, explains why I didn't have a clue what you guys were talking about, lol. Not a beer drinker, so once you get past the Budweiser, Miller, Pabst, Coronas....I don't have a clue what you're talking about, lol. I'm sure I recognize a few more than those.

Just give some more a try - beer is delicious!

I have yet to find many beers I like. Sam Adams Cherry Wheat, Blue Moon, Corona (sometimes). I don't like a beer-y taste.

That is how I started liking beer then I moved to more and more different types and now I will try almost any beer. They are so, so delicious and always good out in the sun BBQing and such.

Congrats Stigy on going green!

So I'm finally getting back to where I was before I got sick exercise wise. Had a bad weekend with the family coming into town too. That's always my biggest problem, get togethers and special occasions.

Congrats! :adore:

I did not know Guides are nominated, I thought perhaps they just pulled names out of a hat or what not :)

Where is the nomination section so I can show my support?

Hi Gnexers and CONGRATS Stigy! :D :D :D

Thanks again everyone!

My favorite is attach bracketry. The stuff the EE guys where I work come up with to attach harnesses, etc. to structure just makes you wanna go .

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Haha! Yeah, for the most part we leave that to the civil folk here, but if it's something simple we'll try to design it. We usually fail, lol.

Never heard of that college, but I can see why it's a high male student percentage. Technical oriented universities usually are.

Man, that phrase brings back memories. My college was the same way (85% male), and any internal college party was known as a "Sausage Party".

That reminds me of the first time I heard of the term, 'Sausage fest'. I think I was a Freshman in Uni. There was a house party one Friday night and I had a Saturday Midterm to study for. Everyone seemed like they were going except me so I wasn't happy with that. Around 1am, I gave up on studying and I dropped by one of my friend's houses. I was surprised that she and some of our other (female) friends didn't go to the party. Some of the guys came back and they weren't too please. They were complaining how the place was a sausage fest. I was quite innocent back then and I actually thought sausage fest meant a party with lots of (edible) sausages. I was quite upset and I blew up at them for being so inconsiderate, 'Where's my sausages? Did you guys eat them all? You know how much I LOVE sausages. You guys are so mean to not bring any back for me'. Of course everyone in the room just cracked up laughing.

Well, this doesn't bode well for ANY of us:

Verizon CEO: Family Shared Data Plans Coming This Summer – Droid Life

As long as it remains an OPTION, then fine. But all four of us are grandfathered into unlimited data. If they combine our unlimited data into a single family plan, nothing lost. But if they try to end our plan and roll us to some 4G/month deal? I've got to look around at other providers.

Pretty sure that would void your contract and you'd be free to roam at that point. They would lose a lot of customers over that. I don't think they have a choice but to grandfather you in. On the other hand, if it's 5GB bucket for $30/month to share between all your lines, I'm in. I rarely use 2GB and my wife rarely uses 1. Neither of us have ever gone over those two numbers per month.

Lucky you. I can't say the same. Those are among my favorites.

Ditto. Life is too short not to enjoy a good grease/sugar/salt induced coma every once in a while.

Your mission is to now find out why his parents named him Chick.

Clearly, they hated him from birth.

Give Shock Top Raspberry Wheat a try. It's quite tasty.

Yeah, its in Daytona Beach, FL. Private college. I wouldn't be surprised if Captain Ron hasn't run into some Riddle grads in his travels, its biggest draw is its Professional Aviation degree (read: Pilot).

I hope you're right, Geek. Sprint's service area ends exactly ONE MILE from mile house, so my reception would be lousy here. Verizon rules the roost in my area.

EDIT: I pay roughly $40 for unlimited data on all four lines (me, two teens and the technologically-declined Darling Bride) so any family bucket would drop me down. Let's hope it's an option, since I called Verizon and they told me my $9.95 unlimited promotion ends sometime in 2038...
