The vibrate is better in 2.1!!

So, in 1.5 there were all these complaints (from me, too) that the vibrate on the Eris is useless. It was.

But with 2.1, I can definitely feel a difference. Well, I can feel it at all, which is a huge difference.

So kudos to HTC for seeing a problem and fixing it. Could be stronger, but still, much much better.

Sweet, a longer stronger vibrate means 2 hours less battery life on the Eris :rolleyes:

A nice feature they've added now is the ability to disable the feedback on the bottom buttons. Before someone had claimed this was a hardware feature and impossible to change so that is funny to look back at now.

I don't understand why so many people want to turn that off. Those buttons are never 100% responsive for me, and I usually have to press one more than once (or make sure I press really firmly) for it to register. The vibrate assures me that the keypress was registered... otherwise, I would either be sitting and waiting for nothing, or pressing it too many times.
