Still love my ET4G, none of these newer phones have me pulling out my wallet. Besides, the S3 will blow them all away when its released. I am waiting for that. I am sure it won't be till around fall to go head to head with the new iPhone.
While the Galaxy SII devices were a huge hit for Samsung, I would wait to see what architecture the GS3 is being built on, and whether or not they use their Exynos line. That alone will determine whether or not they will "blow them all away."
I'm guessing that the Galaxy Nexus is coming in April. Sprint might announce the next EVO at CTIA in May. And hopefully the GS3 will be a Summer release.
GNex will definitely be seeing Sprint's network at some point in mid-late April. As usual, Sprint will use CTIA to announce their upcoming EVO line which will see a June release. Personally, that is the more intelligent thing to do since you wouldn't want the next EVO and GNex competing against each other. As for the GS3, I think Samsung will release it before the Fall because they will want it to more or less kill the hype surrounding the upcoming iPhone.
Well we have to wait until the Samsung event. We are still not sure how long the U.S. will wait to get their versions after the international one. Rumors are stating it will be a global launch. Hopefully that's true.

unfortunately they would LOVE to do that but the carriers over here won't let them... the carriers here are all about "exclusive" BS and if the phone looks the same as what they have then wont let anyone else get it
its a fuked up system and i'm tired of it, the customers only suffer from this crap
Exactly! It's always these damn carriers that delay everything because they are all in war with each other. This is why the GS3 haven't been announced yet. I'm guessing Samsung is working on their variants as well.....so they dont have a wide gap when it launches.

I hope that is what they are doing. It sucks for the US carriers to get their variants months after the initial release overseas. By then, it's like - what's the point?
The only thing that I want to know is whether or not the Exynos SoC is based off of A9 or A15 arch. I know I'm not buying one, but just to ease my curiosity - I want to know.

Android and Me seem to think it will sport the dual-core A15. Their theory is because the Meizu MX that was just announced will be sporting the Quad cord exynos 4412, which are A9.
