Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Good morning all!
Simply out of curiosity (and it may have been stated before in other threads), what do you all do for a living? Interested to see how many of you work for none tech related jobs.

Funny you should mention that since we were talking about it last night....
I have a degree in aeronautical engineering....and work an office job for a company that sells breast implants and other health products. My better half has a degree in biology....and works for the same company.
Our friends at dinner last night...one has a degree in cosmetology and works with us selling boob implants and her husband is a self taught web designer....and works from home.

Morning all!! Hope everyone's weekend is going well.

On AOKP B33...

I like mine from firm to crispy. As long as it does not bend when I pick it up.

A regular haunt for me. Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen

Running B33 on a Boot Manager slot. Loving the ability to test and not wipe the main ROM.

With ICS Boot Manager has some issues. Mostly my learning curve pperhaps....... It does not play nice with all GAPPS. I had to find an older one. It is hard to get inverted gapps to take. You also have to disable Super User's logging. I did finally get the kernel I wanted to flash.

<-- Retired Navy Chief Electronics Technician. Which means that, while I don't have a home radar system or test equipment to calibrate, I can install my own home theater without calling Geek Squad :D

What do I do for a living?

Laundry

Morning all!!!

I am a printing broker. I get some of the store brand labels printed and shipped to the plants that put the products in the cans. Right now our biggest account is C&S which encompasses Piggly Wiggly and Best Yet. I also have worked with Food Lion, ShopRite, Price Chopper and a couple others. It really boils down to glorified Customer Service Rep.

Then You know I Be Jammin Over Here! My Audio. Its an old pic. No more VCR for the Kidd's stuff, its a Blue Ray now. The TV is a wonderful Hitachi plasma I will sorely miss if it dies. The components are Onkyo. The covers are off for the photo opp.

A matched speaker system by Dahlquist R.I.P.. A high end audio maker bought them out to kill them from the competition. Its a 7.1 surround setup.

Samsung is building up excitement for the Galaxy SIII!

A Whole New Universe

You linguists out there may recognize that "tgeltaayehxnx" is an anagram for "The Next Galaxy". This little gem of a website has a countdown, slated to end sometime early tomorrow! Presumably to show the first teaser for the SGS3.

Still, I thought it interesting enough to share :)

While it's dead quiet in here...

What's up with this 38 degree weather tonight???
It's the end of April, for cryin' out loud!

Where's that global warming when I need it...

Hey Chief, we are 66 over here on the coast, but was a rainy day all day. Tonight we are going to 46, cold for here at the end of April. Its only going to be in the 60's tomorrow but back to upper 70's low 80's later this week. We are going to take advantage of this "cooler" temp to finish up some work in an attic at one of our rentals. Once the temp gets much hotter, an attic can be a miserable place to be, lol. And yes it is quiet in here, thus our weather talk, hahaha

Talking about quiet:

Last year the neighbors across the street from us made the midnight run and the house has been vacant ever since. On Friday, the renters to the left of us moved. Now, the neighbors to the RIGHT of us have a "For Sale" sign in their yard!

Do we make THAT lousy neighbors? Are our dogs that bad? Do we need to take more showers? :p

I'm starting to get a complex here...

Working in the real estate business this is unfortunately not too uncommon. Did they leave the copper?
