Root how to edit scrolling cache?

hey guys I have an HTC wildfire rooted cm7.2 RC1 ....

I have a question in the head...

Just as we can improve the scrolling speed of all the launchers can we increase the scrolling speed of all the thingies like the status bar or the messaging app and all the other places where we experience lag on our slow htc wildfire by increasing scrolling cache .....
I very well know about the option in cyanogenmod setting...I'm asking something else...something better...perhaps a script to run or a mod to flash....
thanks in advanced ......

I havnt seen any scrips available for efficiency in scrolling cache, in fact there isnt much scripts out there for Wildfire, we just dont have much support compared to other devices such as the Nexus One/Samsung Galaxy S2.

Also have you tried enabling 16bit transparency?
That together with low quality scrolling cache (check CyanMod settings) gives pretty smooth scrolling in my opinion, well with my device configuration it does :)
