Well, it was a good run. Wrong have 2 in our house and they have been solid. I'm due for an upgrade soon and will be looking at the 4G.

I am sad to see the EOL for the DInc2. This is by far the best smartphone I have ever owned (it is only my 4th). I hope HTC can keep up the good work, and specifically for VZ!

I like the looks of this DInc4G, but I think I might be holding out for something more along the lines of a One X alt. We'll see what it actually is when it comes out. Speculations about the DInc4G right now are wild like my uncle all whiskey'd up and mad.

I go through tablets like water. Usually not phones. I kept the original DInc for a year and a half. I've had the DInc 2 for 6 months or so. Honestly, I'd be happy with it except I briefly had the Rezound and LOVED the 4G speeds. Hated the bugginess I had to deal with w/that phone, but I loved the 4G. So now I know what's out there.

Uh, this sucks. The DINC2 is one of the few GSM phones in VZW's lineup and I need GSM support for travel to Europe. Now what?!?

If it is a 4" screen and as long as I can get an extended batterey, this will be my next phone when my Inc2 dies.

4" works just fine. Had trouble just getting used to that, after moving up from 3.2" Got a while left before I upgrade. But that just means I most likely won't be paying $300 lol

FYI, the VZW store in Montgomeryville, PA (Phila. NW 'burbs) is still selling the DINC2. The new GSM-capable phones should be the Rezound and Droid 4 - however the person I talked to said there was no release date given.

The Richfield MN store on East 66th St still sells the DInc2 in the store. They have the display model on the floor and everything.
