Any new phone rumors for Sprint?

Looks like I'm going to have a very, very difficult decision on which device to choose:

Motorola Photon 4G Sequel Tipped for Sprint

Motorola Photon LTE tipped as coming soon | Android Community

If the Photon Q LTE is thinner than the current Photon, but still keeps the kickstand, I'm already sold. On top of that, with the Atrix 3 rumors of following the Galaxy Nexus form factor (onscreen buttons only, no soft keys), that might be the final deciding factor for me between LTEvo and the MoPhoQ (hahahaha...love the new nickname, if the rumored name is right).

Camera quality matters to and Motorola has never been that good in that area. They are a no go for me.

Yeah, that's a good point Td. It was never a big issue for me and initially, I was happy with the Motorola camera quality, but in comparison to my cousin's EVO Shift, the clarity on the HTC camera was better (especially night pics). The video, however, on the Photon was phenomenal compared to the EVO shift. So, I gave it a 'bit of a toss up.

Overall, Motorola suited my needs much better than any other HTC device I've owned, so it's hard to get that out of my mind. They kill HTC as far as functionality of their accessories (IMO), so that was big for me. Despite the mixed reviews, I absolutely love the lapdock. I didn't think it'd play a factor, but just a couple weekends ago, I watched 2 movies on the way to Northern CA (5-6 hour drive) and my phone stayed charged, while the lapdock lasted long enough for both movies. The lapdock completely eliminated my need to drag my laptop with me on trips like that.

Wow so Sprint is really making a sequel to the Photon? Good job. I'm not a Motorola fan but the more choices, the better. I'm sure Drex is thrilled lol.

I'm hesitantly happy...at the same time, I love the specs of the LTEvo also. Like I said before...1st year that I'm not likely to be jumping on a pre-order, until I've seen the phones in person and played with both.

If they keep the kickstand, then it's going to be an even harder decision....LOL.

After reading CNET's take:

Sprint could have Motorola Photon 4G successor | Android Atlas - CNET Reviews

And also reading PC Magazine's article w/ comments from NVIDIA GM and 3Q 2012 seeing LTE phones w/ Tegra 3 processors:

Nvidia: 'Tegra 3+' and 'Tegra+LTE' Coming Soon | News & Opinion | PCMag.com

I'm convinced that the Q in MoPhoQ is for quad-core. Last year's MoPho was the 1st Tegra 2 device (and only, from what I remember...LOL), so why not? And 3Q 2012 just so happens to be in the same quarter that the MoPho was released last year (7/31/11), so it adds up. After all, we all know how much Sprint loves those "1st" marketing campaigns...HAHAHAHA.

Does anyone know why a device would be removed from the Wifi Certification listings? Up until a few days ago the SPH-L710 was there, but now it is gone. Some thought the 710 was the Note. Around the same time the SPH-L300 showed up in the Wifi cert. I wonder if the 710 is the 300 now??

Interesting.. So, sounds like they either got rid of one of the two, or changed the device number of the original?

I'm starting to give up hope on a Note on Sprint. Might as well get hyped for a GNex or the S3 than a mythical phone that may never arrive :(

People on XDA still says its coming, even going as far as saying mid May-June timeframe.

Who knows, I would love to get it, but if they hadn't made any changes or upgrades I don't know if I could justify it with the GSIII being unveiled next week.
