Help FYI - Opera Mini 5 Beta

FYI - it's out and works well on the Moment. I know this is in the apps section, but figured that some people may want to try it out.

Much, much better than the previous version and it's zippy.

Speeds are great but the zooming leaves a bit to be desired. I do love how it caches the previous pages though so you dont have to reload when hitting the back button.

Maybe I'm crazy, but it looks like this browser is also capable of compiling RSS feeds? I'll dig into that more later...

I dont know wth is going on. I log in and it tells me thank you for logging in and it redirects right back to the first screen as if i didnt log in.

hmm... not sure... i just logged out and logged back in with no problem either. i did it from the androidforums.com main page - but i'm not sure what the deal is. does refresh show you logged in?

Unfortunately i am not apart of any other forums, but i will try to sign up for a different one and give it a shot.





Edit: Ok so i just tried it with a different forum and it worked. I then went back to the androidforum and once again redirects me back to the main page.

Ok never mind i got it to work. What happened was, when it redirected me to the main page it only seemed to look like it did not log me in. I then just clicked on any random link in the web site and then voila had me already logged in and everything. Either way thanks for your help chi

I tried to use it, but on the Google search result page, I couldn't figure out how to change my Safe Search options. It brings you to another page, and I could even highlight the option, but couldn't select it. Has anyone else been able to do it?

go into the classic view and you should be able to change your preferences.
