Root I want Stock++ and Monster 4 but....

I want Stock++ and Monster 4 but the threads are all over the place regarding all the right steps to get this working. So far I have only seen one person that tried this so I am bit reluctant.

I was just wondering what steps (aside from nadroid backups) I will need to take to get everything working that works to make this happen.

If there is anyone that has done this could you give me some tips please?


My current config is with M4 using Sang's CWM. I have it themed with Paris' ICS updated running LauncherPro+(I bought it) I basically want this for the ext4 and of course the awesomeness of the overclock.

That is what I'm running friday follow the instructions word for word first with stock ++ then with monster 4.... Word for word, cause I bricked my phone a couple times trying this.

When you say bricked, you mean bootlooped or blackscreened?

Because that I can deal with. It is the Full-Brick like when I tried to run RomManager on my 1st Admire that I cannot deal with.

So now you are running Stock++ Kernal with M4? No issues at all?

It stuck at the samsung screen for over an hour then after I pulled battery it did it again for 20 mins or so

if you want to run monster 4 on stock++ ...
just install stock++ , then mount system , and flash monster 4

Havent done it yet. I am currently getting a ROM on my son's phone. Just going with M4 for his, no OC.

You flash req kernel and recovery with old cwm and then go to advanced and reboot recovery, after just install stock ++ load into it for 5 mins, then flash monster 4. everything works great on my phone, no problems at all
